WARNING THIS BUSINESS DISCRIMINATES AGAINST ALL MEN "WOMEN ONLY" POSTED ON DOOR ENTERANCE I am a male and I have a skin disorder called rosacea on my facial skin. I looked them up on their website to see more information and discovered that they have facials that I think could help to solve my problem to rid some of the side effects that are caused by rosacea. Not many salons know how to treat rosacea in the Jacksonville area but I thought that this salon I would like to try to help me with my problem.
I called to make an appointment but I was denied service because of their religious believes because I am male. The reason they claim that they can do that is because the business is set up to accommodate Muslim women who can't take their scarves off in front of non-related men which are against their religion.
I thought that businesses owners couldnāt do that because it would be sexual decimation and is going against the Civil Rights Act of 1964 as well as the Federal law that prohibits public and private accommodations from discriminating. Now that we have a city that has an H R O ordnance here in Jacksonville, I ask this question. Can this business continue to use their religious beliefs to discriminate against men and deny them service?
By the way if you don't know the definition of the word Sadhana. Sadhana means daily spiritual practice. It is the foundation of all spiritual endeavor. Sadhana is your personal, individual spiritual effort. It is the main tool you use to work on yourself to achieve the purpose of life.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had an amazing experience here the last time I went here and I decided to drive out of my way to go here again for the same service I had gotten my previous visit (eyebrow threading and tinting). I remember the lady that serviced me my previous visit was very gentle and I hardly felt any pain. This time, I was greeted very unenthusiastically by a blonde lady. She was anything but gentle, I was in pain throughout the whole threading session. Later I checked my eyebrows in my car visor mirror because I wasnāt offered a hand mirror that every other salon in the world offers to check your eyebrows after you get a wax or threading done. I noticed 2 nicks and slight bleeding above my left eye which explained the painful service. I also got my eyebrows tinted and it was done in a very sloppy manner. Not to mention my eyebrow hairs werenāt trimmed well and there was still hair above the eyebrows on my forehead that always gets threaded and cleaned every time Iāve received this service...

I visited this place in early December to get my lip waxed, but unfortunately, it was a terrible experience. During the waxing, the lady removed some skin from my top lip, which left me devastated. I had just cleared up my skin, and it was looking greatāthis incident completely ruined that progress.
When I called to let her know what happened, she was incredibly nonchalant about the situation. I had to push for advice on what to do, and all she suggested was to apply aloe vera. Even now, I still have a small scar that Iām hoping will continue to fade.
This was a really upsetting experience, and I definitely wonāt be returning. If you decide to go here,...
