I had a horrible experience at The St Johns Town Center location about an hour and half ago . I had an order pick up from my Birthday Reward I use to receive my cheesecake. The employee name at the register at the cheesecake display, Haley had a very nasty attitude . When she came from the back to get my order, I already assumed there were utensils inside my bag as usual when I have come in the past for store pick ups . I requested extra utensils & napkins . I honestly don’t remember seeing the utensil in bag initially but I saw the napkin that was already in the bag .
As I walked to the car I noticed there was only 1 utensil pack in my bag . I went back to the register where the deserts are and mentioned to her I was just in line & I asked you for extra napkins and utensils . I noticed you only placed extra napkins not utensils. She immediately got an attitude and in a nasty tone said , “ I didn’t make your order.” I responded that’s fine , remember I asked you just for extra utensils. Her attitude was so nasty I proceeded to ask her if she was a manager . She stated no she wasn’t which I already figured with the service I received from her . I said can you get your manager . The store manager , Brinston that I explained the entire situation to him and the way she communicated to me was disgusting to the point I will be making a bad review . I have been to this location numerous occasions and have never had an issue with dining in or when I have had a pick up . I work in St Johns town center also .
What I found interesting was , Brinston stated that utensils aren’t already placed in the bag when the order is made . I have placed pick up orders previously & utensils were already in the bag ….
He made it seem as if you are picking up an order as if you have to request utensils with your pick up order . I meant to ask him to specify but I was so ready to go I didn’t even think about it . As I was leaving there was a mother and daughter that were behind me as I was speaking with the store manager . As I was leaving they followed me to the door and stated Halle was even nastier when I left the register and had an attitude with her .
We all have bad days . Don’t bring that to work and have a nasty attitude with a customer . It’s all how it is communicated and her communication was disgusting as I told the store manager . If she would have responded differently and in a less defensive tone everything would have been fine and I would have left. People remember how you make their experience when they leave an establishment as I expressed to the store manager. People don’t have time to be dealing with...
Read moreCheesecake Factory is well worth a visit.
It takes a while to go through the menu. That is unusual in current restaurant options. Most restaurants have cut back on their menu options. Cheesecake Factory has not done this.
The menu consisted of multiple pages and there was also an accompanying menu with lower calorie items. Of course, the multiple cheesecake options were not in the lower calorie menu. Online ordering is also an option for those who want something like a cheesecake at home instead of dining out.
I opted for the skinnylicious salmon dish with mixed vegetables. The salmon had very good flavor. There was a light sprinkling of seasoning but it was not overwhelming.
The vegetables were cooked perfectly. The carrots and beans were crunchy but not soggy and had good flavor. They appeared to be fresh. If they were frozen, they were a good quality product.
I also ate some of the shrimp and pasta dish from a dining companion. The pasta was al dente, the shrimp were not overdone so they were not tough and the flavor was excellent.
One person in our party had a salad loaded with vegetables and chicken. It was fresh, apparently tasted very good and a very large portion was served.
I am not sure how so many menu options can be served and done so well in a restaurant. In any event, the entrees were very good.
For dessert we split a chocolate cheesecake. It tasted fresh, the chocolate cake in the dessert was very rich and moist. Three of us split it. High in calories and a great dessert for sharing in this way.
Cheesecake Factory has an interesting decor. It is like dining inside an Egyptian tomb that has been kept clean. It was crowded when we arrived. The wait was about 20 minutes. The hostess said we would be notified by text when our table was ready and we were.
Seating was comfortable. It is not a restaurant for a quiet conversation. We were seated beside a large group of people. We could hear fine at our table but it is not a quiet restaurant.
The food is excellent; selections are hard to believe because there are so many options; portions are more than ample and the service was also good. No doubt, we will be back again in the future.
I have no idea how the restaurant is able to provide the excellent food and service with all of the options available. My guess is their success will be rewarded by satisfied customers returning to a restaurant that has been able to adapt to the challenges facing the industry in the...

Our recent visit to this location was not only incredibly disappointing it was outright unacceptable. We were a group celebrating a child’s birthday, but what should’ve been a joyful evening turned into a stressful, upsetting experience due to a complete lack of accountability, professionalism, and possibly even discriminatory behavior from the server.
I specifically told our server that I have celiac disease , a serious medical condition that requires a strict gluten-free diet. Not only did she seem completely unaware of what celiac disease even is she brushed it off with, "Oh, I don’t know what that is." That kind of ignorance is inexcusable in a restaurant of this size and reputation, especially one that offers gluten-free options. Even worse, when the dish was served, she confidently confirmed it was gluten-free only to deny it later after I had already eaten it and begun feeling sick. The correct dish came well after I had already consumed the gluten-containing one, and I ended up with severe stomach cramps all night due to this careless mistake.
Her attitude was dismissive, cold, and shockingly unprofessional throughout, it even felt racially charged at times, as she seemed particularly impatient and indifferent toward us while being noticeably more attentive to other tables. Whether intentional or not, that dynamic was very clear and extremely uncomfortable.
To add insult to injury, three of our group’s orders were missed entirely. One dish didn’t arrive which was for a kid, until we were nearly done eating that kid felt completely out of place while the other kids got their meal and this kid did not, multiple reminders had to be given even for a simple lemonade. We ultimately had to call for the manager just to have someone take the situation seriously something no customer should have to do, especially when the issue stems from both health-related negligence and disrespectful service.
I cannot stress this enough: if you have any dietary restrictions or expect basic courtesy, avoid this location. The lack of training, empathy, and professionalism is alarming, and no one with a serious medical condition should be exposed to this...
