I was very impressed with three employees. They were helpful and friendly. One saw me struggling with an armful of products, no cart. He came up to me with a basket and even put the stuff in it for me!! He wore a face mask and was very polite. I did not feel it was intrusive. A second employee was there to help when a little girl was calling for her mom. She looked to be lost. I asked her what her mom looked like, trying to help her myself. While trying to find out more an employee came up and asked about the situation. Right away I told her and she turned to the little girl and said she worked there and would help her find her mom. I watched as they went to the customer service desk (so I knew by that and her badge that she WAS an employee, and felt it was safe to tlet the child go with her.) The third employee helped me at the self-check out. She was super friendly. Offered to take my empty basket away and when I was having an issue with the payment portion, she helped out there too. In all these instances the employees were proactive, alert to customer issues. I was almost like I was a secret shopper and they knew I would be there. LOL I wasn't, but I guess I was lucky to be there when so many good workers were on...
Read moreI took some time to write this review. A few days ago I bought an item online at Target, I followed the app's instructions, arrived at the location, entered the parking number and right there the lack of respect, the inefficiency of the workers, the psychological abuse began: a young man approaches me, scans the code on my phone, tells me he'll be right back (the code is only scanned when they bring you the product, not before) after about 15 minutes, he appears with my order, to my surprise, he stands in front of me and starts taking other orders, at the same time he helps his colleague to distribute them (all those people arrived after me) they look at me, laugh and he goes back with my order, as you can see in the photo, after 1 hour, I go into the store to see what's happening (the app tells me: your order has been successfully delivered) I look for help, and the manager Princess appears (I think that's what she was like) after some apologies, she asks me if I want a $20 gift card, I said no, there are things that the money can't buy, 1st the wasted time, 2nd the respect towards the customer. my point is, please improve customer service, focus on serving, if you don't like...
Read moreEver since target security breach when thieves stole millions of credit card/debit card/pins, we have been trying to cancel our Target RedCard. Everyday, the 800 number on the card is busy (no surprise). So we went in the store and asked to get help canceling the card in person. Customer service had no idea how to do it, and started going online to see. They asked me for all my personal information to verify. I wouldn't give it to them as they have been hacked into so much lately
So I asked for the manager. He came, I asked him to help cancel our account and he said that it would be stupid to cancel it now, there are no further security breaches. I told him maybe that is true, but I am not willing to chance it. He then said they are unable to cancel the account in the store and that we had to call the 800 number.
Long story short, I contacted my bank and put a block on Target ability to debit my checking account and I will never shop in this...
