I saw this advertised on Facebook and it looked like so much fun. I have a nine year old and a four year old and this looked like a great opportunity to get them very tired out before bed. When you get there you wait in a very long line until they let you in. While you’re waiting in line, they have someone walking through the line handing out wristbands. Once they open up the gate, the line just moves in and it’s an absolute free for all. What I had pictured was lots of children, jumping. And parents sort of standing around watching. That was the absolute opposite of what this was. This is not even organized chaos. There are grown men running full speed through this bounce house. Teenagers flipping around, kids running, full speed, running into each other. Grown women holding babies running around. There was a handful of what I would call “referees” but they weren’t correcting anyone. They had a separate little bounce house that should be for kids, but there were grown people in there too. If you have kids that are probably seven and up, and you feel like they can run through this thing by themselves, they will enjoy it. But as an adult in there, with a four year old, it was absolute hell. I would maybe take my oldest back because she wanted to run through there with a friend. And I could just stay outside and watch. I will say that it had ample shaded seating for adults and I can appreciate that. That’s the only reason it gets two stars and not one. All in all. I would like my $43 back. The bruises on my...
Read moreThis was my first time visiting, and unfortunately, I won’t be returning. The staff was very rude and unaccommodating throughout the experience. My child was only allowed to bounce for about 30 minutes, and I was never informed upon arrival that there was limited time left in the session. If I had known, I would have either waited for the next session or paid for all-day access.
When I spoke with the manager, she simply shrugged and said that a staff member should have told me beforehand — but no one did. It felt very dismissive and unprofessional.
To make matters worse, my husband purchased bottled water from the concession stand, and the cashier said they do not give back change. He ended up paying $5 extra for just two bottles of water.
Review Update: Janessa, the actual manager, reached out to me promptly and clarified that the woman I spoke with was not the manager but a regular staff member. Janessa was extremely kind, understanding, and willing to help make things right. She offered for us to return and ensured that our concerns were addressed.
Her response showed genuine professionalism, care, and great customer service. Mistakes can happen, but how a business handles them makes all the difference. I truly appreciate her taking the time to reach out personally.
I now recommend giving this place a try — and if you ever have any issues, reach out to Janessa! She truly represents what great management and customer service...
Read moreThis is a fun place for kids (even adults who are still kids at heart and have the energy of a kid!)… Great place to go and let kids jump, run, and play for 90 mins. We went when the weather was 70 degrees, which was perfect because the kids worked up a sweat!
The staff was present and available. There was a kid inside the bounce house being reckless and the staff quickly rectified the situation. The place was clean and felt safe.
FunBox is located in the Avenues Mall parking lot. They have Porta potties in the area, but you can leave and go to the mall food court restrooms if you prefer. As long as you keep your wristband on, you can come and go as you please.
Adults must accompany their kids (no dropping off your kid and leaving), seating is first come first serve, there’s a snow cone stand ($6.00) and a free shoe store area. You can bring your own water and snacks in. Nonslip socks are required. You can bring your own or purchase some at FunBox.
Music was good and it was a fun time. If your kid likes bounce houses, then they’ll love this place. It’s HUGE! My picture doesn’t do it justice.
SN: I read some of the proceeds of Funbox goes to foster care kids. A company doing good things for...
