I originally gave this place 5 stars because when we went in we had great service, found the couch we wanted, and set it up for delivery the next day. Now the reason for the change to 1 star… I received a phone call yesterday (delivery day) that the delivery driver was in the ER and we would have to reschedule for Monday (which we completely understood). However, my husband decided to surprise me and rented a U-Haul to go pick up the couch since the delivery fell through. When he walked in, Ivan told him that he was just about to call me and it turns out they only had the floor model left (when his general manager the night before said they had one in back) and asked if we wanted it. My husband walked over to the couch to inspect it and Ivan had already taken the cushions off the couch and put them in the storage area and taken it apart with shrink wrap next to it ready to wrap it up. We believe, that if he never would have gone in there, they would have had the couch delivered the next day trying to pass it off as new. When asked about a discount for the floor model they said the best they can do is $100, because it was already discounted. I was told the manger wasn’t in and that she would be contacting me today to see what can be done. Her other option would be for us to keep the couch until the new one came in, but then we would have to pay for the delivery and return of the new couch. The small discount isn’t the reason for the 1 start, the 1 star is to shady business practices. If you buy something from here and plan to get it delivered, make sure you are getting what you pay for and not a floor model being...
   Read moreBe careful of the bait and switch. We purchased a sectional sofa that our salesman said was in stock according to his manager and arranged for delivery the following day. The following day we got a call that delivery was canceled due to the driver being in the ER but he could deliver tomorrow. I decided to rent a U-Haul and pick it up myself without letting the store know. I mean my couch was in stock at the store so figured it wouldn’t be an issue. When I walked in I was greeted with “we were just about to call you to let you know we don’t have the couch you purchased in stock but can give you the floor model.” Walked over to look at the floor model and it was already disconnected, cushions in the storage bin, shrink wrap sitting on the couch with a dolly next to it. Said we wouldn’t take the floor model at full price. Salesman said understandable and would contact the manager who was not in the store to see what they could do. The salesman said the manager said without looking at the paperwork and couch they could do $200 off but possibly more after she is able to look at our paperwork, so we take the floor model couch home. Wife calls back today and the speaks to the same manager who tells her they can only do $100. Shady business and we’re not naive enough to believe we wouldn’t have got the floor model as “new” when it was delivered, making it appear as such was halfway there when I walked in...

I paid cash for a piece of furniture at Coast 2 Coast Furniture in Port Richey since Mother’s Day, and to this day (07/09/2025), they still haven’t given me a clear answer about when it will be delivered.
Every time I call, I get a different excuse: •    The item is “out of stock” •    I need to speak to the manager •    The manager will call me back (never does) •    Shipping delays, tariffs… just excuses!
It’s clear this business should not even be operating as a store. There’s no communication, no solution, and absolutely no professionalism.
