If I could give a -100000 i would. Me and my cousins were walking around Dillard’s because we were bored obviously and this employee starts literally following us and for no reason. We weren’t being destructive or anything. We start walking fast because we were actually scared. We go down stairs, get something too drink and go back because it’s the only decent store there, we all had water and looked at the beds, barley near them and this other worker who was previously talking too the lady who was following us, starts saying “dont put water near the beds!” She said it in a pretty rude tone so we finish our water and go too the bathroom too throw it away, on our way too the bathroom we see the lady who was complaining about our water and how we “keep coming back” or “keep staring at her” was talking too security!!! We thought it was just a coincidence because she had no reason too call them being that we literally did nothing so we went too the restroom, now me and my two cousins who are both FEMALES heard an extremely loud bang on the door yelling “SECURITY” Muiltiple Times even though he already had the door open which is already an invasion of privacy, he comes in and says that the male needs too get out of the restroom immediately, pointing at me FEMALE cousin who has short hair. We were literally in shock and said that she was a girl who had every right to be there. And SHE was extremely offended, keep in mind we’re all 13! So we decided too call the manager and costumer service because the situation was completely uncalled for and unnecessary. We go back in Dillard’s because it’s still a mall and we weren’t done looking, we go in and everyone was just watching us the entire time like we had guns or something, I go upstairs and see the lady talking too the security guard AGAIN so we go back downstairs and just look at the makeup. Then we see that he followed us down there and was basically watching over us the WHOLE TIME. Then I try in a bit of concealer because it was a tester and I wanted too feel it, i then see this other worker who comes over and tells me I’m not aloud too use it without her help? I highly doubt that but okay we honestly were just so done and left because I actually hated being treated and watched like a criminal, is this a stupid Dillard’s policy or something??? I literally can’t walk into Dillard’s without being watched. EVERY FREAKING TIME. Fix your staff because there disgusting and...
Read moreSo 7 years ago I stopped going to Dillard's even though I still have a connection with the Estee Lauder products. But I went in to purchase my usual Estee Lauder cream that I'd always purchased. But the person behind the cosmetic counter did not like my appearance at all. She not only told me the Estee Lauder did not come with gifts but they never came with gifts. I'm thinking she had the thought she knew me from somewhere even though I've never seen this person before in my life or else she was in properly trained. So for the past 7 years I've been experimenting with other types of night repair cream. It's not going well. But that person behind the counter that day was extremely mean. So it's not so much that I wasn't entitled to the gifts that came with the purchase but that she's scared me. I am not an easy person to scare. But she was either going to hurt me or get somebody to hurt me just because I asked about the Estee Lauder gifts. And I really think I asked her about the Estee Lauder specials. After that I did start noticing that the local culture considers things like coupons and specials and sales and deals to be the same as stealing. And I know what the specials were at the time on the Estee Lauder site. I just did not know what the specials were at Dillard's because I prefer to go in and see them. I have Mary Kay night repair cream right now and it's just not the same. I'm sure the price is going up by now but $80 for 3 oz of night cream at the time. I should not have been treated so worthless just for asking what the specials were. I suspected that she knew what the specials were and then after the cream was sold she put the specials in her own purse. I just want to know from anybody is the place back to normal again and are they back to allowing Estee Lauder specials. If not next week I will go back to...
Read moreLet me tell you about the Dillard’s Clearance Center in Newport Ritchy. This spot is the real deal. Every single time I walk in there, I come out looking sharp because they always have fresh fly clothes on the racks. We are not talking about leftover junk or worn out threads. We are talking name brands, clean lines, crisp styles, and clothes that make you feel like you are walking out of a magazine shoot but for a fraction of the price.
What I love is the hunt. You walk in and it feels like treasure hunting. Rows and rows of options and if you take the time to look, you will find gold. I have scored shirts, slacks, shoes, and even suits that I would have easily paid three or four times more for somewhere else. The quality is exactly what you expect from Dillard’s. Nothing feels cheap. Everything feels like it belongs in a high end department store.
The staff is helpful and they do not crowd you. If you need them, they are right there, but mostly they let you do your thing. I respect that. The layout is simple and it keeps changing, so every visit feels different. You can walk in one week and see one vibe, come back the next week and find a whole new wave of inventory waiting for you. That is why I keep coming back. It is consistent and unpredictable at the same time.
If you care about style and you like to keep your closet fresh without dropping insane amounts of money, this is where you want to be. It is not just a clearance store. It is a secret weapon for people who want to look their best every single day.
I have shopped at plenty of spots, but this place has never let me down. Newport Ritchie might not be on everyone’s radar, but this Dillard’s Clearance Center is worth the drive. Every visit, I walk out...
