Pedestrian Coffee & Ice Cream — Restaurant in Jefferson Township

Pedestrian is a fun and funky little shop (both locations, which I’ve been to) with amazing espresso, delightfully creamy ice cream, and a friendly staff.

I had a deconstructed affagato (the aforementioned doppio and ice cream) which was a sincere delight. I’ve had my share of amazing espresso, and their geisha varietal Mexico is a sweet and tangy treat. Their Nutella ice cream was perfectly sweet. While it did contain some ice crystals, that did not prevent me from thoroughly enjoying it.

Their Belmont location is a warm and inviting space in the shadow of the Red Line, and Logan Square is a fun and funky shop where the action happens right in front of you…and it’s just steps from the Blue Line!

Just had my first experience at this place and it was fantastic. The place is very spacious and I loved how peaceful it was. I was greeted by Dora, who delivered excellent customer service and was more than happy to spark up conversation and make my first experience a memorable one. I usually go to Chique O’ Latte, but this will probably be my new primary stop for coffee. Overall, a great vibe and the better prices are a bonus! This will quickly be a talked about location in the neighborhood. Also be sure to sign up for their rewards program when you checkout!

My only suggestion is that I wish they had designated tables to sit at instead of the bar if I wanted to work from...

Pedestrian Coffee is a fantastic addition to Logan Square. Excellent coffee, baked goods, and homemade ice cream. Their coffee is expertly sourced directly from farms around the world.

Good vibes all around from Pedestrian. The same high quality and service has made its way from their other location on Belmont. If flavored drinks are your thing, you have to try the Charlatte & Nutella Latte. Well balanced and delicious. The same goes for their traditional coffee items. There’s something to enjoy for everyone here.

They’re in the process of adding more seating. Until then, enjoy bar service and seating by the windows. Can’t wait...
