Five Below — Local services in Jefferson Township

Thursday I try to return an unopened blowup gamer chair, I did not have the receipt. I thought well, it’s five below so it’s not a huge deal right? Wrong at this location after bringing to attention that I was trying to return the inflatable gamer chair too one of the associates it was a disaster. Apparently she could not give me a return Two seconds after making a decision. It didn’t seem like there were any adults over the age of 18 at the time in the store so I was polite and said OK thank you for your time. Upon looking on the five below website Friday during the day I discovered that the policy for the store is that you can return an unopened item and receive a merchandise credit. I called the store and asked to speak to a manager just to confirm really not to complain and he was very polite. I let him know what my question was and he said he was able to come in that evening and do the exchange or get the merchandise store card to use at a later time. honestly I think that is very rude to treat customers like that upon them asking for a return. Initially, it felt a little hostile and regardless they should’ve asked a manager. I love five below and will be returning to other Locations but definitely not this one I do not recommend shopping at this one if you have a return or you think you will have to return some thing that a child already had multiples of which was my initial reason for returning. Five Below is one of my favorite stores to browse—it’s the perfect mix of fun, affordability, and variety. Every time I walk in, I find something new, whether it’s trendy tech accessories, home decor, fitness gear, snacks, or seasonal items. It’s honestly amazing how much you can get for just a few dollars.

What I love most is that the store feels upbeat and inviting. The layout makes it easy to explore, and everything is clearly labeled. It’s great for grabbing last-minute gifts, stocking stuffers, school supplies, or just treating yourself without breaking the bank.

The quality of the items has always surprised me—especially for the price. Their phone cases, wireless speakers, art supplies, and even beauty products are way better than you’d expect for under $5. And now that they carry some items in the $5–$10 range, the options are even better without losing the budget-friendly vibe.

The staff is always friendly and helpful, and checkout is quick and easy. I also appreciate how they keep the store clean and well-organized, even when it’s busy.

As the name states, everything in the store is below $5. What separates this store from the regular dollar store is the quality of products here are much better. I recently purchased some headphones from a dollar store for a $1 and I don't think they lasted 6 hours before one side went out. Here I purchased some ear buds for $5 dollars and they are the quality of a SkullCandy type and still work. I also bought a $5 portable mini usb charger that has been a life saver since Im always out and phone is dying. Works perfectly.
