This was without a doubt the warmest and most inviting coffee oasis on a cold day. Brightly lit, well decorated and welcoming. There's an authentic family atmosphere here that simply couldn't be faked. Staff are delightful and smiling genuinely, they greet you as soon as you enter the door.
This is a dandy and cozy cafe! With generous and comfortable seating with wifi available. The music is lively and quite pleasant. The food here is delicious and the coffee is flavorful. Try an empanada, it's their specialty!
There is also a kindness here that I find hard to describe. You'll know it when you come in, these folks are hard working and exude the fact that they're good people.
Darlings, stop in when you get the chance. You wont regret it!

The Cafe of Dreams: Cultura CCafe
When Claudia started her coffee shop with her business partner a year and a half ago it was because she dreamed of having a restaurant. She did it because she wanted a place of her own to show what she’s good at, and in this case that’s food and hospitality. Claudia has motherly care in her, which comes naturally from raising her daughters, and that’s what she wants you to feel when you come in. She wants you to feel like you are coming into her kitchen.
That’s the authentic truth from Joclyn, the older sister who came in to help with the business about a month ago. Her younger sister Stephanie helps out too: “It’s a true family business, and we all bring our own flair to it.” Watching this family work says much and more about who they are. They communicate well, they’re always improving and trying new things, and they bring an authentic atmosphere to the cafe.
Joclyn tells me that her mother felt like she couldn’t start this business because of her immigrant status and yet, a year and a half later the business is standing strong. Their story tells us about the meaning behind the word family, and what one family can do together.
Three more things: this cafe is dog friendly (in that your dog may come into the cafe with you to order but not stay with you in the cafe). Cultura CCafe offers: lattes, frapes, smoothies, coffee, choco latte, and biscoff lattes. They are known for their empanadas (trust me I’ve had a few, they are divine! and they want to offer veggie options soon), paninis, nutella crepes and waffles too. Cultura CCafe offers pick up on DoorDash and will eventually have mobile ordering (down the line).
Do stop in dears, you...
Read moreThis is the place where you no longer just pay lip service to supporting local. Sure, the big chains have fine coffee, and so does this place. But it has so much more than that! Killer empanadas, crepes, waffles, coffee, tea and more. The ladies running this lovely Avondale coffee shop have created an inviting, comfortable and clean atmosphere that's perfect for popping in and taking out, or for having a seat and enjoying company along with some beautiful morning eats. I recommend the papa con chorizo empanadas, but will definitely be getting both sweet and savory crepes next time. So skip SB next time. You'll find cheaper prices, locally prepared grub and delicious coffee and be enjoying a local gem run by two of the sweetest, most beautiful folks operating a local...
Read moreI don’t review on google, and this is a throwaway account- but Cultura Ccafe is worth taking the time to review.
Genuinely the most warm and welcoming cafe in Avondale. Delicious food that’s satisfying (no giant meals, but no $12 two bite snacks either!) full of flavor, and competitively affordable.
Jocelyn remembers all of her customers, and will sit and chat with you, or give you the space to let you work.
If you need a third space, to meet with friends, work “from home,” people watch, or just respite from the cold with a yummy drink, Cultura Ccafe is the place to go.
Every time I walk in, it’s a breath of fresh air and a warm atmosphere like a hug.
I recommend the...
