I’ve been researching for a while on a bed room set and sectional after seeing prices/talking to the other Elgin location about a bed I’ve been highly interested in , i decided to go to my local save and tell as they would have the same price or match price apparently i was wrong . Walking in was pleasant greeted immediately talked to Lucy (Lucy was extremely nice very helpful good customer service) about the bed she just built same day that i have been very interested in She gave me the price talked about it then it all went to the worse when Ali came over and took over. He was really nice in the beginning had no problem checking inventory about the bed when i told him i was brought here because the Elgin location had the same bed i wanted but it’s too far showed him a screen shot of the bed with recent date he said “it was last weeks deal “ even when i told him i just spoke to Elgin location and the price was off by literally hundreds of dollars . I still purchased because i been pushing it off for so long i decided to do it any ways immediately after leaving i called Elgin they confirmed it should have been priced matched and i felt extremely cheated when returning because the head board wouldn’t fit i was told i would have to change the bed not priced match nothing i had to spend 300 more now for a different bed even after spending over 1500 on 2 items i started to get a nasty attitude and looked at wrong from Ali i felt totally cheated disrespected and some what racially profiled when spending big money you want to feel like you made the right choice and from him i didn’t the only effort was from the lady Lucy she was trying her Best But i can see he would over power her opinion ultimately i got a full refund because i purchased a bed that wasn’t even in stock and didn’t verify if it was. I felt relived when i left, WILL NOT BE RETURNING IF ALI IS DOING SALES THERE OR UNTILL HE KNOWS HOW TO TREAT HIS CUSTOMERS ESPECIALLY INTERRACIAL ONES AT THAT I LOVED THIS PLACE BUT NOT SO MUCH NOW...

Buyers beware!!!!

My experience with this company has been a nightmare. We purchased furniture from Save and Tell located at 5619 W Belmont Chicago Il twice and both experiences ended poorly as a result of bad customer service experience. The sales side was pleasant but the delivery of products was a nightmare. The first delivery the delivery driver forgot a piece of my order and had to go back to get the missing piece. Then following set up they left the packaging in my dinning room and told me they do not discard and that we were responsible for that. I complained to the sales rep later that week and he said he would talk to the delivery guy about it and apologized for the bad service. Then 3 weeks later we decided to give them another chance and purchased additional products that were delivered today 12/30/21. The delivery/installers delivered the goods and once again left the packaging in my house. I asked them if they would remove it. They refused and at some point even disrespected my wife by swearing at her and calling her an offensive name. It escalated from there....the bottomline. I implore any sensible potential consumer considering shopping at this establishment to go elsewhere. They are incapable of providing basic customer service. They have policies that run counter to the core principles of retail marketing. It is not worth trying to save a buck and lose your self respect. I have bought furniture from this store in the past and it's been good! The reason I'm writing a review on this business is more because of the decency of gentleman running the place. Today my wife misplaced her phone while shopping across the street. After searching endlessly the stores she was at, it turned out the phone was returned to the Save & Tell Outlet & Furniture. When I went to do an additional search about an hour later, I took a chance and walked into the store. The manager/owner was helping customers but still took a moment to ask what I needed help with. I told him I was looking for a phone and he asked me to describe it as their was one that was recently turned in. I dialed the number and gave a description.
