They used to be the best of the best for Greek food in town. I especially liked their gyros. I and my friends would go out of the way to have food there. But now they are trying to make more money. The portions are getting smaller, unreasonably thrifty on meat and condiments, prices have increased and they do not give you complimentary appetizer anymore or they choose who to give it. The ambiance is generally comfortable, however, the worst thing was that during last summer, with heat spell, they would not turn on the air conditioning as such we had to leave the place as it was torturing hot. Parking is ample and generally available. The level of noise is low that is good. , however, see above for the air conditioning issues.
It used and still somewhat continues to be a nice place with good food. I hope they stop this penny pinching for they will lose their customers. The owner and staff remains nice and likable. The food is still delicious. Again, I really hope that they go back to their old selves or else me and all my friends will have to find a new spot for Greek food.

The taramosalata (fish roe salad) and the Greek salad were just so-so - even the bread. Which was always crazy fresh, just seemed flat and a bit stale. As far as service is concerned, the waitress, who was serving tables by the front windows as well as the far rear of the restaurant, just seemed frazzled and confused. Maybe this was due to the crowds of customers who were re-aquainting themselves with CG, but it just seemed like they weren't prepared to serve crowds . Anyhow, since CG has always been our go-to, we'll u undoubtedly be back - but on a weekday evening - to see if they really have their act...
