Every neighborhood deserves a local cafe that has the character of the neighborhood. It should be a place that feels cozy and welcoming, a place people can work or socialize or host a small event. That's the baseline. Add good coffee and now you have a winner. Add food made from scratch and you've created a destination. El Capitan is that place! Even if it wasn't the only cafe in the Belmont Central area I would come here. This place deserves to be on your list of cozy...

Been wanting to go here for a while. It was on my coffee shop list and I finally went today!

Let me tell you about today’s experience!!! It was great! The owner was very kind and helpful when I had questions. There was no issues and no rudeness, just smiles and a lovely chat. I ordered a churro which was crunchy in the outside but fluffy in the inside. I also had a caramel and horchata iced coffee which was good!

I will definitely be coming back to this place soon!...

I heard of this shop from a friend, and my entire experience was amazing. The owner were so generous and humble, and they are passionate about their craft.

Their aguas frescas are genuinely one of the best aguas frescas I’ve tried in the areas. Their Coffee Chata was also a nice balance between coffe and horchata, which is rare to find now a days.

The place is so calm and super cute with all the live plants and Mexican culture represented. Totally check it out if...
