We moseyed down to this place because it’s close to home and we really really want something to thrive in this spot. We NEED a neighborhood tavern to walk to watch games. They have lots of tvs and they had the Cubs game on. We met Agnes the owner and she was lovely. The menu is small but there is something for everyone. We ordered buffalo wings and a bacon jalapeño honey pizza. Honestly the wings were really good but the pizza was amazing. Agnes explained to us that everything is made in house. Even the pizza dough. Alex the bartender made me an amazing craft cocktail called The Traveler. It was delicious! The esthetics were a little confusing. The interior is exposed brick and wood beams and reminds me of an old castle. There are tables and banquets around the perimeters of the space. There are no tables in the center of the room that makes it look like a huge dance floor leaving the space feeling cold and barren. The atmosphere is a work in progress and we were told that they are still working on it. The food and service were top notch and I can’t wait to go back to try some other menu items. This place has incredible potential to become the neighborhood tavern that is greatly needed in our area! Kudos to Agnes and her vision of becoming just that kind of place!
Update: We went back tonight. Ordered the wings again and the bruschetta and the croquettes. All were amazing! The drinks were awesome but they need to make them a bit quicker. I get that they are still working out the kinks but 30 minutes of waiting for three drinks, which two were the same, is a bit long to wait and we were the only patrons in the place. Also they didn’t bus the table from our appetizers. We stacked our plates up ourselves and waited for them to pick them up which they never did. We planned on ordering dinner but gave up after being there for over an hour and decided to eat dinner somewhere else. It’s still very confusing about the atmosphere. It’s very unwelcoming. Cold and austere. Again there is lots of potential in the space but not somewhere that you necessarily want to go and have dinner and take your kids. Just not our cup of tea. I...

Read moreI luv there sample platter. We always go there for important sport games or boxing matches. I like how the back is outside but all in a nice tent with tables and TVs, and you are allowed to smoke there. They have the best zapiekanki, burgers, and fries. I wouldn't recommend the wings, they are way too grease with barley any meat. Over all I love the place although they play...
