First off, nowhere are the prices of the tour posted. $16 adult and $9 child up to 11. 5 and below, free. Second, pay by credit card online. Do NOT pay cash just in case it is cancelled or turns out like ours did. Our tour had about 30 or so people in it. My boys were very interested at first and very excited. They love watching ghost hunters on tv and Youtube. Even the police in town told us we would go here and there and inside this and that. Well, our tour was a terrible letdown for us all. We just walked to the places we had already been to earlier in the day. You get these grand haunting stories and legends of murder and suicide. You are told about the guide taking the tours into this building and that building and people experiencing paranormal events. We did not go into any buildings at all. Just stories of what others experienced on other tours..... go figure. We were only shown edited pictures on a cell phone of this and that. The same pictures available to see on their website and Facebook. The last stop was the saw mill/junk shop we went to earlier in the day and the guide could not get the door open. More or less there was an apology along with a promised comp at a later date. 0 partial refund offered. My two youngest boys were very upset when it was over and very disappointed. Several in the group commented their displeasure that this was all there was to the tour for...

I never leave a review, good or bad but today I will leave a bad one. I read a bad review from about 5 years ago of purchasing tickets in the first part of November that overlapped a special event that was separate from the normal tours. It isn’t list or mentioned on their website so you ultimately get screwed. I came the Jefferson for a wedding photoshoot weekend (November 4th) and wanted to enjoy a ghost tour. I purchased 4 tickets and did as the website instructed, to call same day. My husband was informed of the special occurrence and that it was listed on their FB page, NOT THE WEBSITE. They only had two tickets left for the special event and I needed 4. He was told the tickets would be refunded and take about a week. It wasn’t. Contacted them twice on their website and once to the cell provided. NOTHING. I disputed it through PayPal and was denied since it was all done properly. Yeah it was all done properly in terms of how I paid but I got NOTHING for my money. You people SUCK, I want to say more vulgar things but I want this posted for other’s to see how you do business and not get screwed…..I only want you screwed. Have the day...

Drove over 2 hours for the tour with our pre-bought tickets only to find out that on every 1st weekend in November there is an event that will not allow the weekly tour to have access to the "haunted places". It was not stated on the website that we would not be able to enter the sites or that we would only be able to listen to the "stories" as we walked. It would have been helpful to know this before driving so far and wasting the money when we could have planned to do something else. They do not allow refunds so the only saving grace is that the tickets can be used another night. I thought I had done my research well enough, but apparently not. I'm sure the tour would be good if we where able to get the experience we paid for on the weekend we planned. So needless to say we will have to comeback if we want the experience that was paid for. Again this was not stated on the website and needs to be advertised...
