NEW EDIT - New management staff is uncouth and rude. Theatre seats are broken regularly and trash is left to accumulate while the staff is too busy standing in the hallways and watching the movies during sex scenes, even the underage employees. The vibe is no longer one of fun and entertainment, but rather restrictiveness and harassment. Staff keeps track of how long you're in the bathroom, comes in and pressures you to leave the theatre before the credits are even over, and picks certain customers to pick on, even going so far as to be accusatory and confrontational with me over a simple mistake. Seats are randomly reserved right at showtimes for people who mysteriously never show up, and the staff is racist and discriminatory. I miss Thomas and Dakota. I won't be back now. There's too many other theatres to choose from for me to go out of my way to visit a theatre that profiles me and doesn't appreciate my repeated, regular business.
OLD REVIEW - Best theatre in Louisville! Great seats, wonderful sound, and excellent staff, especially Dakota, the manager. He's always extremely helpful and accommodating for any needs that we may have, from food and drinks, to finding the correct theatre, and information about upcoming releases and promotional items. He keeps the theatre running smoothly and is always working hard to make sure everything is clean and ensuring the garbage cans are never left overflowing. Things like bathrooms and drink stations are always in working order and fully stocked, and pricing is reasonable, especially on Tuesdays. Always a relaxing and enjoyable experience when Dakota...
Read moreIt makes me sad to write a negative review. I have taken my disabled husband here for 20 years along with grandchildren. We go every week. We have easily spent over $10k.
Today I came with my husband. I gave the girl behind the counter our rewards card. They always have to punch in the numbers because the card is old and they have no way to transfer points to a new card. The girl said it came up with no owner. I explained she must have punched in a number incorrectly and to please try again. She ignored me. I let it go. I ordered my husbandâs usual which is the combo of chicken tenders, French fries and slushy. When we got the food it was missing the fries. I told her and she walked away from me with no acknowledgment. I asked another young lady and she brushed me off. I asked to speak with a manager. He came out and with no words spoken yet by me he began with an immediate attitude. I questioned if he was able to speak with me without the immediate attitude. He simply said he had none. I explained what happened and he said the girl had autism and probably didnât hear me. I said I spoke to a second girl and she ignored me also. He said which one. I pointed to a young lady who appeared to be African American and he corrected me âwell sheâs not Africa. American.
I just donât understand the total disrespect and negativity. We will find another theatre.
We also were not given seats to select as we always are so ended up sitting in someone elseâs seats for...
Read moreFirst time attending this theater, was not so good. Obtaining the EXPENSIVE Tickets for Sing 2, was ok at the kiosk, but screen was not very clean. Standing in line for popcorn was a mission. People jumping ahead of others etc.
Received the popcorn and cups for drinks. We also ordered a cherry iceee and the iceee was plain white. Odd.
Mosey on down to the soda centers and NONE had ICE! Kept going from machine to machine. Also, the popcorn butter area/soda counters were gross. Expensive sodas and very badly maintained soda machines/ice machines/counters.
We walked in front of the TV screen guide for the movie names. In very TINY letters, was our Sing2 movie and so hard to see (after 10 min looking for our movie). We found the theater đ
Then, when the previews we're playing, they just stopped and screen was showing an "Active Desktop error" code for another 15 min. So we were out of the previews and movie started almost 30 Min in (530pm).
Seats were ok. Just messy floors and sticky floors. Not cleaned very well either.
So, fast forward to 15 min BEFORE movie ended, workers were moving garbage dumpsters around (loud enough that I looked behind us to see what was being moved). Just not very cool.
Sing 2 was nice, but HORRIBLE theater that isn't too consumer friendly. Will go back to Cinemark in tinseltown.
Will be requesting a refund/portion of the night, since tickets were $15 each! Not including the bad tasting...
