Had a pretty wonderful stay except a few things! The lady who checked me know as fantastic and was the only one who was. Hotel was nice and clean. HAD AN AMAZING BREAKFAST! Fresh eggs, sasuage, muffins, bagels, biscuits, yogurt, and I could go on. The indoor pool was perfect and clean, my son really enjoyed a morning swim before his morning nap. The reason for 4 stars is because, of 3 things. I had asked for a late check out at 12 and needed the extra time due to, I was out of town visit for a funeral. The check in lady made sure it was setup, with no heaitations. Then I was rushed 4 times by 1 phone from front desk and 2 knocks on my door from maid staff and again from maid staff when I asked for a extra towel. Secondly, as a mom of a 1 year old and a car packed full, I specifically found a place who posted, not once but twice on their website on Expedia and Google that they have free cribs/bedding for infants. They in fact do not, the check in lady even said she didn't know why it was posted on there that they even had them. I did not pack for his bedding. So, luckily I had paid for a king deluxe room that had a pull out bed. I nervously place cushions and pillows all around for my 1 year old, recently walking son. Thirdly, although breakfast was again AMAZING, it was supposed to last till 10. At 9:20 my boyfriend and son went down to get some food and everything was almost taken down. The lady cleaning was different from the front desk lady and was kinda snappy when my boyfriend asked the timing again. They did how ever get everything my boy friend and son needed, but with reluctantly. Although these are some major things it would have been nice to worry a little less in our time if need. I'm still a big traveler and hotel stayer in general. I will give credit when credit is due.

This by far has been my worst experience! We have stayed here before and were treated good. This time Shakira the front desk worker refused to give my husband an extra blanket for the grandchild. I called to the front desk and told the worker I needed a blanket for the child and she hung up on me. I went down to the front desk asked to speak with the supervisor and she said she didn’t have to call anyone and was not calling anyone. She said she didn’t care if child/he was cold that I could go to Walmart or one of the other stores down the road and buy a blanket because she was not going to give me a blanket! She left the desk went over to the customers area where she had a computer and a heater set up. She sat down and turned the computer back on so that the show she was watching would come back on. She ignored other customers that walked in while I was standing there. It’s a very sad day when you pay hundreds of dollars to rent a hotel room and you can’t get a blanket! I would NOT recommend anyone with children stay here especially one with a disability because you WILL be mistreated!

This hotel can only be described as vile and disgusting. Your results may vary, but the only "decent" part of the hotel was the outside and main lobby. That's where it ends. My room was awful and the other reviews you read about bugs in the bed sheets, stained/holes in sheets, pet hair everywhere, hair from someone (meaning not me) in the bed sheets, wall splatters, etc., are all absolutely true. The craziest part of the story is I literally had ALL of those issues in just my room alone! In fact, I have provided a picture of the bug I found in the sheets of one of my beds lest there be any doubt. I had room #111 on the first floor and I was also treated to the smell of weed along with loud music playing from the room upstairs. If your only choice is sleeping literally on the ground outside in the middle of winter, sure this place might (term used loosely) be a better choice. Maybe. Under all other circumstances book literally anywhere but here.

Unacceptable Hotel Stay.......... DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. There is no way this hotel should get any stars.

First, when I checked into my room the room reeked of chemicals because someone sprayed for bugs and the smell was overwhelming. I immediately contacted the front desk and asked that they move my family ASAP. My 4-year-old daughter was complaining about the smell. Honestly, that should have been my first red flag to check out of this hotel. Unfortunately, It only gets worse from here.......

Then, we moved upstairs to the third floor. The first problem was that the toilet would not flush. I contacted the front desk, once again, and let them know we could not flush the toilet. The young lady at the front desk let me know there was no maintenance on the property and they would have to send someone out in the morning. Another huge red flag. We had to flush the toilet with a bucket which is unsanitary and down right disgusting!!!!!!!!

Next problem, We come back from enjoying our day out and having fun at Thunder Over Louisville. As my daughter is getting ready to go to bed I see a spider on her pillow. I screamed, I grabbed my kid, and I killed the spider. Once again, I contacted the front desk and let them know immediately. Unfortunately, since we are occupying the room they wouldn't be able to spray. So..... We just had to deal with it until the next day. UNACCEPTABLE!

Next problem, the sink kept backing up as we brushed our teeth and got ready in the morning. At this point, I was over this hotel stay and I let them know as I was checking out about the sink. The young lady at the front desk asked me if I had a great stay and I told her at that time, NO! I let her know this has been the worst experience of my life.

I contacted La Quinta by Wyndham corporate office and honestly they were no help. Wyndham does not stand by their brand/name and they allow the general managers at these properties to decide if they will resolve any issues with the consumer and make sure it's acceptable on both sides.

The general manager "claimed" he sent me an email and I checked all of my inboxes and there was no email.

After contacting Wyndham's corporate office again, The representative read me this email the general manager claim to have sent. He apologized for the problems, and thought that would fix the problem. Ummmm No!

At this point, I will not rest until everyone knows if you are in the neighborhood Louisville Kentucky, please find another...

Stay over housekeeping Rocks! Did find a couple of stray hairs upon arrival in the shower one of the days that we were there I did fine a super long black hair in the middle of the towel that was rolled up above the toilet that was a little disgusting but the days that we had housekeeping come in and I'm tidy up the place she did a fabulous job replaced all the towels that we had on the floor made the bed even through where old soaps and each day we had new soap to wash your hands with that was kind of cool you could tell that that she was not in a hurry did her job and made sure that we are stocked up every day good job Housekeeper, woot woot. Just for the hair I think it was really disgusting and I should get some type of discount on my stay it was gross but the rest of the room was good the bed seemed kind of hard my husband hated it but I don't care Add seemed updated and clean I did feel safe , But for the door it sucked the door was like it was not fitted for the door for The frame You could see through the crack the people walking down the hallway I was trying a weird and not feel safe and also The bottom of the door was like not long enough for the door you just see the people feet as they walked by it was weird that will I do not feel safe and the the latch to keep the door close not actual lock but the the latch did not seem long enough to withstand someone trying to kick in the door it was too short I did not feel safe The the dogs staying on our Floor had a barking party With each other in the middle of the night it was kind of funny unless you are trying to sleep. The people at the front Desk seem knowledgeable and really And really nice except for the last night I asked her about a good place to get pizza and she was all lost and I found a Papa John's flyer and asked her what which one of the restaurants we should go to and she like had no clue but it's OK we figured it out on our own. It's a good hotel I did feel safe except for the door it was clean I may stay Again but I or my Look harder next time for a different hotel would I recommend this to my friends kindda maybe I'm would say yes but I would tell him to keep looking if...
