Our first - and likely only - visit to this location is as laughable as it is pathetic.
We'll start with the ordering process. We walked in an walked up to the counter to order. We were told to order at the kiosk.
Dear KFC...no one likes ordering at the kiosk. It's ridiculous to send people to an electronic device when you are standing directly in front of a register to take an order. If you want to force people order at the kiosk then take the damned registers out, or put up a sign asking your customers to use the kiosk.
One of few, rare times I was in the mood for KFC (I prefer Popeye's chicken to KFC's hands down) is turning into a disaster already.
After we ordered and waited a gentlemen came inside. He said he'd been waiting at the designated waiting spot (he had ordered and paid at the Drive Thru) for over 20 minutes and still hadn't gotten his order. He brought his receipt in and showed it to the person up front. They (an employee, not the manager) said "That order already went out". I'm guessing that order went to the wrong person. Nonetheless they had to assemble his order -- again. The man was 100% right for being angry. I would be, too.
Shortly after drive thru guy got his food one of the employees (NOT the manager) said to anyone getting ready to place their order (at the kiosk, not the register, because this store doesn't believe in using the registers) that any orders for chicken would have to wait 30 minutes for chicken because they were almost out.
Imagine...you sell ONE thing...and you're about to run out of it. It's Kentucky Fried CHICKEN.
Not only was there a 30 minute wait for chicken, but also for fries (deep fryer issue, apparently).
OH...and if you want a chicken pot pie? Well...guess what...you're out of luck on that front as well.
We got our orders because we ordered before the Great Chicken Blackout. When asked for iced tea...HEY...guess what. We don't currently have iced tea!
So, to recap: No ordering at registers No chicken for 30 minutes No fries for 30 minutes No chicken pot pie for some mysterious reason No iced tea.
This all makes me wonder why they just didn't shut the doors until they could get their act together. We saw about 8 orders turn around and walk out the door because of this mess.
While all this is going on, at no point did the manager come out to talk to the frustrated and unhappy customers. Each time it was an employee that had to come out and give the bad news. All the manager did was stay behind the line and yell (yes, we could hear you) at the employees.
During our roughly 45 minute visit the dining room was 100% un-touched. Dirty tables, trash can over flowing, one table was a disaster area because there had been a table with an infant, and one of the trash bin doors sat wide open.
Looks like they didn't bring their A game on this particular Saturday. Or their B game...no even their C game. They definitely brought...
Read moreHalf of my $60+ order did not show up. I tried calling 5 times, each time, the phone rang about 20 times and then went to a busy signal. I then drove 20 minutes to the restaurant to try and get the order fixed. The store lobby was closed early at 8:30 when it was not supposed to close till 9:00. I knocked on the door, and employees looked at us standing there and refused to come to the door. Got back in the car and went to drive thru and was lied to about not hearing knock. The manager refused to help or replace missing items or even apologize. The manager Margaret insinuated we were lying, saying she made the order herself and that the driver was rude, so basically she told us to kiss off. She stated the restaurant don't deliver and doordash would have to fix issue. I did not order via doordash, I ordered on KFC app. Manager was very rude, refused to help and slammed window in my face and walked off. I waited, she sent a young employee to the window to ask us to leave, was too inconsiderate to even come to window herself. I asked for a corporate number, and they refused to give it to me, said I had to look it up online. I ended up calling corporate to turn the manager in as this was ridiculous. If she would have apologized and offer to replace the missing items, I would have been fine with that. I understand things happen, but I didn't use a service privided for by the restaurant only to be given this kind of treatment and refuse to do anything about it.
Will never go back to this...
