Target — Local services in Jensen Beach

Update 10/2/2025 It seems this store has better management at night. Still not 100%, but shopping here after 6pm is much more pleasant. Checkout and customer service reps seem more capable. Still doesn't boost the rating, the daytime management is not good, and weekends are hit or miss. It's a shame because staff on the floor are always helpful no matter the time of day.

If only I could submit this with zero stars! This Target is terrible. Bathrooms are nasty. It's hard to get service at the food counter. They advertise items on the app, have the items in store but you cannot purchase them until the next day which is just wrong. The checkout process is horrible. The cashiers and customer service staff are oblivious and poorly managed. I have been double charged for items on several occasions. The last time customer service did absolutely nothing. I didn't notice until I got home, the double scan by the cashier caused me to pay $60 for a $30 package of toilet paper. They never have enough check out lanes open, and when they open lanes, customers are allowed to cut line causing a bad experience for those who were truly the next in line. They allow people to use self checkout for a cart full of items despite the 10 item limit. Customer service staff do not have good knowledge of the store, thier stock or policies. Curbside rarely gets my order right, so that's not an option. This is the worst Target I have shopped at, and is unfortunately the closest to my home. DO...

I would give this target ZERO stars if I could. One of the worst targets I have ever been to. I've been shopping here for quite some time and each time I have had a bad experience. Almost everytime I come here I get harassed by the employees, and then they give me an attitude when I don't need their help. But today was the last straw. All I wanted to do was go to target bc I was bored and wanted to look at the makeup section, maybe buy some stuff. But no. This girl with blue hair (who at first I didn't know she was an employee because she was wearing casual clothing and had BLUE hair) asked me if I needed help. I politely said no. I few minutes later I notice she is following me as if I was a thief or something. I go into a different section because she was totally freaking me out. A few minutes later she comes over to me and gets way too close, doesn't say anything and kind of hovers over me and watches me browse. I almost wanted to whip out my wallet and show her how much money I had. I just wanted to have a great time at target on MY DAY OFF and this smurf made my great time feel so uncomfortable. I ended up not buying anything and leaving in a rage. It's just so rude that just because I'm a young girl and I'm carrying around a large bag and wearing a hat you assume I'm going to steal something. THATS MESSED UP. Normally, I would give Target a 5 star but tonight after what happened I have to say I'm absolutely disgusted. I just had a baby and all I wanted was for my husband to come in the fitting room with me and quote on quote "family fitting room!!!" And the woman who works back there told my husband "you can't go in there with her." So my husband sat outside the fitting room (while staring at the big signs on the door depicting a man, a woman, and a child) and then proceeded to ask her why he was not aloud in with his wife (me). She says to him "your wife isn't even suppose to be in there she should have been in one of the single rooms." Well I obviously wasn't intending on going in the big room alone. He then said to her "no we were going in there as a family to the family changing room and you wouldn't allow that. " The lady then told my husband " it is designated for families you know, like for moms and kids." Then my husband extremely offended at that point, said "So families are now reduced to single mothers and children? As he showed his wedding band.. why is their a sign with a man a woman and a child? The sign did not specify for children and mothers only. It says FAMILY.. LOOK UP THE LEGAL DEFINITION OF FAMILY! She tried to say we weren't a family. How dare you!
