I don't normally leave reviews for fast food type places because I truly do understand that everyone who works there is most likely stressed and busy and deals with difficult customers all day but my experience at this Starbucks location yesterday was very disrespectful and I left in shock. After telling the kind young man at the register my order, he forgot to relay on the order (mocha frappe oat milk no diary whatsoever) that my drink was to be non dairy, as I have a severe dairy allergy so the other young man ended up making the drink with whip cream on top, which was fine mistakes happen. I politely asked him if he could please remake it with no whipcream and he did with no problem. The issue arose when a woman working there interrupted us to start berating my senior mother and I about how there was no point in him doing that and that the mocha sauce has dairy and has always had a dairy background. She was repeating herself over and over loudly waving her hands at us telling me all this inaccurate information in the rudest way in front of everyone while it was busy. So not only was she being loud making a spectacle of something ridiculous, she was also loudly speaking out completely wrong information as if we were just dummies or something. It was all very embarrassing as I don't like confrontation and didn't understand the hostility. A 2 second google search on her end could have easily informed her that Starbucks regular mocha sauce is infact diary free .....Like I stated it was busy there I'm sure everyone was stressed but there's no need to belittle people with wrong information like that, it also seemed to make the poor young man who had to remake the order look completely defeated and I felt so bad for him. I just stood there and listened to her go off on us in shock. The drink he did remake tasted great, though I was shedding a few tears while drinking it from just the embarrassment of that all happening right in front of everyone when it was packed. Please educate staff members at this location so no one else with a severe allergy has to be gaslighted like that...
Read moreThis store in particular, unlike all the other stores in the area, is the worst. The manager Tiffany prides herself on taking advantage of the customer or should I say, specific customers and upcharging for drinks and items that are not to be charged extra for. She had a very rude and snarky attitude and stated that she "wasn't going to argue with me," (when i explained that im a frequent customer and know the price, because im there ordering THE SAME DRINK almost every other day), her response, which is a basic unprofessional go to, for I don't know my position and am really bad at my job. Was uncalled for. I'm at Starbucks more than twice a day most days for personal and business, spending more money than necessary, as well as tips. This is a prime indicator of corporate greed or just unprofessionalism on the manager’s Part. Tiffany, in my opinion is unfit to be manager of a store, because she has no idea what customer retention is about. If something is not done about this, I will not be patronizing this starbucks or any other in the future and will advise my clients not to as well. It's bad enough that almost everything is unnecessarily overpriced these days, but just trying to be a considerate and loyal customer, because I too have a business and understand the industry, is not giving back in value as it should. To be clear, I've had multiple issues at this specific starbucks that I've tried to overlook and just pay, because i don't have time to address every issue, but now everytime, I come there's something and it's not worth the...
Read moreI enjoy the convenience of walking to the shop every morning to get my coffee. I do not enjoy being discriminated due to, I assume, my appearance. I'm not sure if Starbucks tells their employees to ignore everyone except those who appear to look wealthy or if it's the snobs at this specific location. 3 separate occasions I have experienced this, 1 involving myself. I work in the same plaza, my store probably covers at least a quater of the day's earnings by the amount of coffee runs we make a daily basis. A month ago myself and another coworker went in and placed our orders. Waited for our names to be called as usual. However we began to notice the people behind us were being called before us. After waiting a decent 15 minutes I approached the barista, male mid 20's 5'7ish dark brown hair, and asked where our orders were. I received this snarky response of "Oh, we forgot, sorry." Main reason why I can't list his name because after that interaction, I didn't care to know it. 2 other times, I was lucky enough to get female baristas, which have always been pleasant and prompt, so no issues occurred. But I observed two people both wearing regular t shirts and jeans go completely ignored while customers wearing suits and other attire that gave the portrayal of "wealth" be catered to hand and foot. As a regular customer it's pretty pathetic observing and experiencing such outdated discrimination. Suppose I'll go to the Starbucks in Barnes and Noble. Least that shop treats every customer like a...
