Dairy Queen (Treat) — Restaurant in Stuart

My wife and I are life long lovers of DQ ice cream. We visited DQ today on Federal Hywy in Jensen Beach and for the second time in 2 weeks we were thoroughly disappointed with the vanilla ice cream as it was way too icy and tasted like ice milk instead of the rich creamy tasting ice cream we had grown to love. Furthermore, the employees were reluctant to dip and roll our cones in sprinkles because they said they didn't want ice cream to drip in the sprinkle container, so the chocolate sprinkles we requested were merely sprinkled on top; most quality ice cream stores dip...When we complained a more experienced employee did her best to cover the cone but it's just not the same as rolled. In reality, the ice cream on these cones was so cold and icy one could have held them upside down and the ice cream would have stayed in place. Having owned a frozen yogurt and ice cream shop for years out of state we know well and understand what to expect at an ice cream shop and what we got out of our visit today was the unexpected and unappreciated and we are turned off to DQ. McDonald's is creamier and better tasting and that is just a side line for them...hello?...Let's get with the program DQ...

Just visited DQ at 2531 NW Federal Hwy (by Britt Rd.) Never was greeted by the lady who was working, only personality she has is a stern gruff look as if being bothered. We were the only ones and continued to be the only ones until we were ready to leave. Another customer came in and place a to go order. I patiently waited at the counter to ask for two lids. Ms. Personality comes over I explained I needed 2 lids one a blizzard and one for a cupfection and I was in no hurry. She only came back to me with the one lid so I asked for the one I needed, she huffed and rolled her eyes put down the items roughly on the counter that the was making as if I was a problem. By the way the lid didn’t fit what I needed and I didn’t bother asking for the correct one even though the other customer had left. Her mannerism towards me was unprofessional and I promise I will never visit this location again. No one deserves that treatment. I could have been an a$$ and called her out but I choose the high road. I hope no one else gets treated like this. No excuses for...

Absolutely HORRIBLE experience here. We went this evening to pick up a cake where the box said OREO on it. Brought it home & come to find out it’s peanut butter which I am heavily allergic to. We brought it back to exchange it & they handed us another one telling us that it’s cookie dough. We then brought that one home come to find out it is yet again a peanut butter one. We drove all the way back where the two kids working there had no idea what they were doing & when we asked to speak to the manager; they weren’t there. They then gave us their number & we spoke with the manager who told us “since I’m not there I don’t know if this is actually what is happening so I cannot give you a refund & the kids working right now don’t know how to give you one either so I’ll give you $5”. This is a situation that would have lead me to stop breathing & a hospital trip had we not noticed it was peanut butter before eating it.
