Chuck E. Cheese — Restaurant in Florida

I understand that covid19 has upended the way buisness is done and if attempted to be done properly for safety concerns is amicable. However this particular Chuck E Cheese was disastrous. The male manager was trying his best to accommodate & was extremely friendly to everyone but they were extraordinarily short staffed. Most people were wearing masks but the few who weren't adult wise weren't told to put one on, the non-managerial staff could have cared less. The majority of the people here were completely classless and when I say majority I mean majority. Their kids were out of control, multiple confronting my daughters asking to use their cards asking for tickets not wearing shoes pushing other children out of the way when they didnt have the credits to play the game. It was a mad house. I'd say one in out 5 children ages 5-12 were not wearing masks. Other than the friendly male manager trying his best to do his job and a employee going around sanitizing machines I would have gave this place zero stars. Also when leaving no one was checking the "selfie shot" they requested you to take when entering. Their new protocol for children entering and leaving with adults is to photograph everyone going in so they can prove the same family that went in together is going out together. This was not enforced in any capacity when we left. There wasn't a person even paying attention to the door. Definitely would not feel safe letting children run around alone here although almost every parent didn't have this attitude, they could have cared less. I have been to multiple chuck e cheeses up and down the east coast of Florida and this experience will prevent me from EVER stepping foot into any of them again. The place is smelly, hot and does not have enough workers. The games were ok, noisy but its understandable. It took 20 min to order chicken nuggets and Caesar wrap ( only one cashier). 25 min later our food haven't arrived yet and when I went to check I've noticed that I was charged for the adult size nuggets instead of the kids size. There still was a line and only one cashier. I stated my case to Brittany , politely explaining about the charge and the wait, my son was upset since the rest of the party had gotten and finished the food and was ready to eat the cake, but his food was not there. Brittany agreed to refund the difference and then just left. She came back a while later, explaining that she had to make sure she could do that. I've asked for the manager and was told she was the manager. On my question about a very slow service she said that they had birthday parties. Yes, I was part of one but the birthday parties get booked well ahead so you can surely plan and have extra help if needed. She never apologized nor smiled. She even ignored my question if it was the best she could do. I paid for my order again. When I got to our seat, the food arrived, nuggets and fries were burnt, the Caesar wrap was supposed to have fresh fruit as a side..came with canned mandarin oranges. I did not bother to talk to the manager again but I will never go back . Nobody cares about providing a good friendly service at that place which is sad. I would not recommend that...

Too bad so many are buried so deep in their irrational, unwarranted fear, so that they can't even get it together enough to enjoy an institution like Chuck-E-Cheese in 2020. A 98+% survival rate is absolutely ludicrous to completely wig out over. Fyi, the FLU flu still exists & is still taking people out. Also, there have been way more lives destroyed than have died due to this Plandemic affront & attack on the people of every nation. There is a specialist in the medical community in this house. We actually know the science, that usually does NOT come from puppet dOcTuR frauds manipulating you on your TVGod, btw. Even N95s arent effective in decreasing your chances of getting infected, because covid particles are much smaller & can pass through. I didn't need useless stuff in my life like a vaccine company that is the CDC to put up signs to wash my hands to not be disgustingly filthy, but that's just me.

Anyway...

My wife & I took our family there for both our birthday celebrations (we have a 9 & 10yr old), but we had as great a time as any other time we've been there since our childhood in the 80's!
