I feel this practice is base on how you look, I may look like I crawled out of a hole and don't have money, but when you are not feeling well that's how you look. I have the funds and the insurance to fix me, it is finding the right doctor who is willing to help you. I was told by my insurance carrier to see this doctor since the gastrologist who did my scope would not recommend anyone for me to consult. The doctor made me feel humiliated, he also made me feel like I'm not worth helping. After having 5 different abdominal surgeries I have scar tissue wrapping around my intestine which makes going to the bathroom difficult. He sends me to physical therapy to teach me how to use the bathroom, really! He said that will solve my problem, NOT! well I have given up my search for help and waiting for myself to implode. Come to find out that Dr. Knapps was not the specialist that my wife needed for her medical issues .
