Update:: After finally picking out a couch that fits in our house we are told that we have to renegotiate our Leasing and that they have changed leasing companies and so now we have to wait to have the couch delivered. Mind you I did not cancel the order as I stated below. I'm honestly considering canceling it and I should have never even went and picked out a couch that will actually fit into our living room. We go in there to pay the remaining for our lease because now they're saying that we are $100 over what we were approved for and then they tell us that their systems are down and it is due to the fact that they're switching loan companies. They acted like they couldn't even tell us anything and that we'd have to come back on monday. I highly recommend going to Rent-A-Center or some other high-end furniture store. This is been a nightmare. We've given them several chances and it's been 4 months down the road and still have not gotten our furniture. They also say that they do deliveries for several other companies. So you're lucky if you even get it delivered once you get it that is the problem we were having initially. Now we're told that they don't even have her loan agreement and it's like what the heck were we even doing there when we went back to refinance the couch. These people need to get hold on it.
Previous review:: After purchasing a couch for nearly $4000. We waited nearly a month. We still have not had it delivered and after paying all of that money plus additional to have it delivered and nothing has been done. We had somebody scheduled to come out and they came out an hour and a half early and then tried to tell me that they were coming back. I waited for several hours and got nothing. I called the store and they told me they were just so booked after we had done nothing but move all of our furniture out of the house. We have nowhere to sit and no furniture. I'm canceling the order and I want nothing to do with the store. Super unprofessional. They tell me that the deliveries are booked and that if somebody cancels we'll get a spot. I have nothing to do with it I'm canceling the order. I should have known better. My review below was based on the salesperson being super sweet and this has nothing to do with her.

While I initially chose Ashley Furniture based on your reputation for quality and customer service, my experience has fallen far short of the standards one would expect from a business of your standing.
I placed my order on Oct 25th with the understanding that delivery would take place Nov 14th. However, it has now been almost a full month and the items has still not arrived. Despite multiple attempts to follow up with your customer service team, I have been met with vague explanations, shifting delivery dates, and a lack of concrete solutions to expedite the process.
This delay has caused significant inconvenience, as I have had to rearrange my schedule multiple times to accommodate anticipated deliveries that were later postponed. Additionally, the lack of proactive communication from your side has left me frustrated, as I have repeatedly had to contact your team to get updates rather than being informed in a timely manner.
Furthermore, when I visited your store, your representatives assured me that delivery would be smooth and timely. I trusted this information when making my purchase, yet the reality has been entirely different. This raises serious concerns about the accuracy of the information provided at the point of sale and the efficiency of your logistics process.
I understand that delays can occasionally happen due to unforeseen circumstances, but the lack of accountability and resolution offered by your team is unacceptable. I believe it is the responsibility of a reputable business to not only deliver on its promises but to keep customers informed and provide appropriate remedies when things go wrong.
I am requesting: A detailed explanation for the delay, including specific reasons why the delivery has taken so long. An updated and guaranteed delivery date for my items Compensation or a discount to acknowledge the inconvenience and disruption caused by this prolonged delay.
I hope you will treat this matter with the urgency and seriousness it deserves.

Read moreI have made several purchases from Ashley but my most recent was and still is a complete nightmare. I ordered a dining table/chairs the first week of Oct. I was quoted a 3 week turnaround. At the 3 week mark I had still not been contacted. I called to discover the funtire was in the warehouse and was advised I should have been contacted already. I called the warehouse to only be treated very rudely by the woman who answered. I had to wait an additional 2 weeks for delivery. The table that was delivered was broken and I was short 2 chairs. Again, I was told I should have been contacted in regards to the chairs but I never was. I called Ashley to be directed to a customer care number. I called that number and let them know about my broken table and missing 2 chairs. I also discovered one of the chairs delivered was assembled incorrectly and I requested a replacement chair as the screw was threaded improperly leaving a large space and no possible fix without damage. That was Nov 16th. I am still waiting for a replacement and complete delivery. I contacted Ashley and was simply given a meaningless "sorry." Update- I called in December to inquire about my purchase as I still had not received it. The customer care rep argued I had received all my chairs. Once that was settled I was scheduled for delivery for the 21st of December andI advised I coukd only do morning and was assured that note would be made. They set delivery for afternoon and I had to cancel. Delivery was rescheduled for January. This past Saturday was my delivery date and they did not show. I called to ask why and was told that I was never placed on the docket for the day. So now I have another delivery date for this saturday. We shall see if they show up. I was also promised a $200 refund check that I have not received, and it has been a month since I was supposedly issued that check. When I call or text the rep about the check I am told that they will look into it. This is been a huge mess and I have now taken this issue to corporate as this location has not been Cooperative nor do they care. The rep is no longer answering...
