We recently did an entire Kitchen and Laundry room remodel and ordered this unit along with about $4K in other LG appliances from Home depot. We ordered this unit on November 24th and was given a delivery date of December 12, was notified by delivery team this would be moved out till 16th due to schedule. I receive a text message from the 3rd party delivery team on the 16th the unit was damaged, and I would be notified by LG in 48 hours about the replacement. I called customer service and was assured this will be resolved quickly. LG automated system calls on December 18th that the unit will be delivered December 22! On December 22nd I get another text message from the 3rd party delivery team that replacement unit arrived at the warehouse damaged and that I would be contacted in 48 hours by LG. I call the store and explain this is a month after our order can they help? I was given a $100 courtesy adjustment and assured this will be resolved and I will be contacted with new delivery date. LG automated phone system calls me January 9th and tells me unit will be delivered January 15th. January 12th I get an automated call from LG stating unit was backordered until at least January 29th and that I will receive a delivery date after that time when a unit is available. My wife and I go into the store on January 12th looking for help and was told sorry, Home Depot doesn't really stock anything and if we want the LG we will just have to wait. So now we have been without a washer and dryer for almost 6 weeks and Home depot really doesn't care or have a way to help. We asked to have the order canceled and refunded. Was told since it was an online order they have to get permission from LG to give us a refund. Lady at Home Depot tells us she will work to get refund processed but since Monday the 15th is a holiday they will probably not be able to get in touch with anyone until the 16th. On the 16th I call store and was told sorry the refund is being held up by LG and they hope it will cancel and allow them to process my refund soon and they will call me with resolution. I call the store back on January 19th and was told, the hold just cleared and they are refunding me the purchase which of course if the amount of the unit minus the credit I was given in December, so basically were taking back the money and you'll just get what you paid us. I just want this to be over and so ok. The refund finally processed on January 22nd. So basically Home depot took $2K from me and held it for 2 months and didn't deliver anything to me. No apology, no offer of assistance, no attempt to save our business; just told that's the way it is here at Home Depot. This was a truly unbelievable experience and such a disappointment in customer service and a company that should do better. Stay away from Home...
Read moreI hate Lowes because they have no one to check you out in Elizabeth, Tennessee. So my wife and I go to Home Depot in Johnson City Tennessee to order new appliances for a new house. On August 24, we ordered a new washer, microwave, stove, refrigerator and dishwasher. We were told that Home Depot is number one because they have such good availability of all their products and everything showed to be available. September 19 our dishwasher was not available so we had to go upgrade another $200. order to receive one because there was no date available for the one we ordered. Our order got pushed out from September 23 to October 7. In the meantime, closing on our new home September.27, 2024. Our stuff arrived on October 2, 2024. You’ll never guess what happened? They forgot our washing machine, forgot the attachment for the icemaker for the refrigerator, forgot the plug for the stove, and the crew had never put in a microwave. They had a template, but they had never used a template before. My wife told him to hold up. We complain to Home Depot so they said the next week they can send someone else out, but they can’t come back short of the week. It’s like all this was my fault. Now they’re coming out on October 9, 2024. We have fixed the refrigerator. Bought a plug for the stove and put the microwave up with a template. in the meantime, my $5800 bill has come due and technically all they’ve done is set the appliances in my kitchen minus the washer they forgot. this is a pitiful way to run a business. The manager was to call me back because he was trying to pull strings to get this done earlier. He said. But he forgot to call me. Asked me if I would recommend Home Depot in Johnson City Tennessee. The charge for installing the microwave was $189 that they sent two people out here they could not do it. I didn’t want to because of my back but my wife and I did it. I’m really surprised they found my house as incapable as these people were. The answer to my question is no I would not recommend Home Depot Johnson City, Tennessee for anything. It’s a shame one star is the lowest I can go. A one star is too gracious for this company. i’ve tried to put pictures of my appliances, sitting in my kitchen floor, but I can’t...
Read moreI arrived shortly after opening hours on a Saturday with just a few cars in parking lot. I entered the store and was briefly greeted by a worker who took a second to look away from his cellphone to welcome me to the store and then immediately returned his glance there. He was pleasant in his tone of voice, but did not ask if he could be of any assistance. I wandered around for a few minutes, as I have not frequented this store often, and found the aisle that had the item that I was looking for. After several minutes of looking for my item I was unable to locate it and I ended up going up and down several nearby aisles looking for a worker or perhaps a button I could push to find assistance. Finding none I went looking for an associate. The first associate I met made eye contact with me, nodded his head in a yes fashion and continued pushing a cart down an aisle. The next associate was busy looking at her cellphone, (just like the greeter at the door), as she rounded the corner and disappeared into the back of the store. I decided to just leave as I was unable to find the item or someone who would be helpful in finding the item. As I left towards the front door i saw several small groups of Associates chatting and laughing amongst themselves, with only the occasional eye contact made or small head nod in my direction. The store itself appeared to be well lit, and items stocked on the shelves had prices clearly marked. I was disappointed that the Staff were less than helpful and the fact that the item i was looking for was not carried in the store. It could be ordered through the online site and delivered to the store, but I was needing the item that day, so this was not an option that worked for me. I have had hit or miss visits to this store in the past and perhaps I was there on a "off-day" for the Staff, but I can assure you that unless I know they have an item that no one else has, I will not be choosing to return here...
