Cramers's Rangeline Meat Co — Local services in Joplin

My parents have bought meat here for years. This last Saturday they went in to get some deli ham and cheese. This place sliced their meat and cheese while STILL IN THE PACKAGE, leaving shreds of plastic throughout their entire order. When they called to let someone know what had happened, they expected an apology and for the mistake to be made right. They got neither. The weekend manager offered to "pick the plastic out." So, come Monday, my parents took the ham and cheese in to the store so they could see it, thinking maybe they didn't realize the magnitude of this plastic throughout their food..Once again the staff at Cramer's offered to pick it out. I'm sorry but that is not how you treat any customer, especially not your regulars. After I posted a review on their Facebook page they offered to make it right, but you will never guess how...they want to RESLICE meat and cheese..In the plastic..and pick the plastic out. They refused to reslice it correctly and also refused to refund the money. Needless to say, they lost 2 loyal customers over their foolish pride. I wanted to make fresh roast beef and cheese sandwiches for our holiday guests. Purchased 1pound of deli roast beef. wanted to buy 1/2 pound of sliced cheese.Manager refused to sell it to me. pointed at a hand written sign. Deli meat and cheese sliced by the pound only. I could not believe what he was saying. I know 1/2 pound of cheese is only 4 or 5 dollars. But refusing to sell it to me was unbelievable.. Needless to say I will not be back to this business. I just left there after making a rather large purchase. It's exciting to see all the meat they have to offer! For the amount of meat I paid an excellent price! The man who checked me out happened to be very courteous, seeing that I am pregnant, he had no hesitation in offering me assistance in bringing the purchase to my vehicle!
