Manager needs some training in customer service. I don't know her name since she didn't have a name tag on. My family was there about a month ago. I wish I could remember the lovely associate that helped us. We were looking for jeans that was on a mannequin display. The associate was at the resister desk so we asked her for help. She looked it up and there were 2 more left in the clearance. She was in the middle of letting us know where all the clearance rack jeans were, since they were not all together, when she was interrupted by a manager lady letting her know that there was someone waiting to pay. Ok. Here is the problem. The associate was fantastic. She apologized and said she will be back. I watched this manager go back a several feet away to talk to another manager. They have been talking to each other the whole time we were being helped. As a manager myself, I was not pleased by this example both managers were leaving. Why was it important enough to stop their conversation to let an associate know someone was ready to pay but not important enough to help her by either going to the register or taking over helping us? That is poor management. Maybe mindset should to put customers first. All of them. I watched her run back and forth helping us and going back to the resister while management still having a conversation. I thanked her for help because she was the only one that cared enough. I almost offered her a job at my place. I may still do that if she is still working there. Shame on...
Read moreSo I order online everything I ordered was Christmas gifts. I had a jacket to return and was picking up on Christmas Eve. I took the jacket to let them know I was wanting to do an exchange the register I went to was also pick up so I told the girl that I had 2 packages to pick up and told her my name. She said ok. Get jacket and a couple of other items and get down road and realize I had no online stuff in my bag. It was 604pm we turn around and I called they answered and told me that they were closed I told them I understand but the cashier knew there were two online orders they tell me ok hold on and I was waiting for a manager which never picked up the phone and they just let the phone ring and ring then they pick it up and hang it up. So when I call back they immediately do it again. Called back again and they ignored.it completely. I plan to return everything I purchased due to having no choice but to go spend money at the only other open stores I found better deals at Kohl's and they were so much nicer. I spent over $500 at JC Penny's and you couldn't hand me my already paid for orders that your cashier was more interested in talking me into a Penny's credit card instead of retrieving the order I told her I had and that I drove over an hour to pickup. That's pretty shitty if you ask me, that's...
Read moreI went there on black friday with my mom and bought her 3 panties. Since my mom didn’t know English, she couldn’t read the sign “buy 10 to get $3.5 each” ( “buy 10” words are pretty small and “$3.5 each” is big in display) so she thought the price was $3.5. Literally my mom just gave me the panties and I went straightly to check out!!! I got home and checked the price later, and it costed $30 for 3 panties instead of $10.5-ish, I doubted it and went back to the store to check and realized you had to buy 10 to get that price but my mom already took out the tag. I went to the return and exchange section and asked if I could get 7 more to get the deal, the lady was not hesitant to refuse to do it unless I had the items that I bought there. I asked her if it was possible that I showed the receipt instead of the items but still a no!! I understand that she was following the policy, but aren’t you going to give customers a good deal on holiday and a good service/experience? Losing $30 is not a big deal for me, but what I expected was a good service to the customers. What did you give...
