Michaels — Local services in Joplin

Very disappointed in the sales associates. Went in 20 minutes before closing, only had to grab one thing and I couldn't find it so I went up to the register (couldn't find any other employees) and asked. She didn't even know it they carried it so she got on her walkie and asked. A few minutes later and I'm still standing waiting for a response. The girls finally blinks at me and says "oh, my manager doesn't know if we have that or not. She's going to look it up for you...." so a few minutes later I'm still standing there and I finally said "I guess I'm gonna go back and see if I can find it". After looking for 10 minutes (while still waiting for an answer) I finally go up and ask the girl "did you get a response?" She once again blinked at me like she didn't know I was in the store and says "oh yeah, no we don't carry that!" And back to doing what she...

Cashier Cathy is arrogant. She asked for my email and phone number said she had to have them to finish my transaction and signed me up for rewards and I didn't want your rewards. I now have to cancel them and I will be shopping somewhere else. I won't shop at a place if you have to be a rewards member to make purchases. You should post that at your door. And your manager Jenn is a Bxxch. I had something ring up wrong and took her to the item where it was clearly stocked in the wrong spot and she said customers put it in there when they saw something else they wanted and refused to help me. I don't have a Michael's within 90 miles of where I live. My work schedule takes me Joplin once a month and I schedule my day to accommodate a stop there. It doesn't have everything I might need for my interests but it does have things that other similar stores don't. The store is clean and adequately staffed... Sometimes I think overstaffed... I like to take my time browsing and comparing items but if you stay too long in one spot it seems the employees want to rush you along.... Otherwise, it's just one of those stores I need to stop...
