I love antique stores and the character and charm of these old buildings. But i also know that there can be a balance between character and cleanliness. Cons The poor air circulation will wreak havoc on your sinuses and allergies. Restrooms have had blood on the sink and toilet. Stairs are not safe to ascend or descend as they are too narrow and the tread width is too short. You can only get half of your foot on the tread if you don't have small feet, making descending even more challenging unless you turn to the side. Tripping hazards in the floor throughout the building. EX.. Patched floor boards. ( I HATE THESE.)

We love coming to Bella Patina! One of the coolest and cutest antique and more shopa in the West Bottoms! Multiple floors to explore! Bring the family or a group to explore this place together! You never know what you will find or see! Give yourself plenty of time to walk every floor. This place is well organized and easy to walk through. We always bring our friends to this shop they all love it as well. Great place to go to find awesome decor for your house or lake house. They do have a little bit of everything. They have antiques, books, globes, lights, signs and so much more! Make this one of your stops on First Friday or anytime...

I've found some absolutely gorgeous pieces here. You can spend hours roaming the three floors of Bella Patina, and it still wouldn't feel like you've looked at everything. It's an older building, so it gets rather warm in the summer months, and, since it's only open the first weekend of every month, expect it to be busy. I've found the best times to go are on Friday and Sunday, because it's not nearly as crowded as on Saturday. There's tons of great antiquing spots in the area, but imho, Bella Patina...
