Horrible experience with this place. I was given a time frame of 3-4pm to pick up a kids desk. I notified Jennifer when I was leaving my home and that I would arrive closer to 4pm. When I arrived to the store she said her “ husband just took it out to someone and she thought it was me”. Needless to say I drove 15mins with my 2 kids for nothing in rush hour. Jennifer then said she would like to make it up to my daughter and offered another desk and said she would paint it. I agreed to that and she said in a week she would start on it. Well a week went by and nothing. After a couple days she then said the leg was broke and offered another desk. She also had originally agreed to sale me a desk for $50 at the original price of the first desk plus she would paint it. The new desk she was offering would be $120 for everything and I agreed to that desk and price but she said “she wouldn’t pick up the desk for 2 weeks.) 2 weeks came and I had to reach out to her. She said someone else bought the desk so she didn’t have one. She sent me another picture of a desk that looked nothing like the ones we were looking at for my daughter. I passed on that one. I never asked for anything to begin with but she insisted on making it up to my daughter. Well all she did was string me along and make the process a nightmare. She even knew it was the last piece of furniture I needed for my daughters room and I was patiently waiting and even agreed to pay $120 for a painted kids desk! I was in search of centerpieces for my wedding and had a very specific look in mind. I walked in and fell in love with a mercury glass compote dish. The next step, finding 20 of them. I'm a bit OCD and wanted everything to match without having been handled as much on the sales floor. After talking to Brandon and learning they only had 10 in stock, he went above and beyond to get ahold of his employer (who was off) to determine if they could be ordered from the manufacturer. Be still my heart, Brandon and his employer order 24 even though I only needed 20 just to make sure none of them showed up broken! I collected my centerpieces today after they were inspected by a very thorough receiving team, and I'm super pleased with Brandon and The Painted Sofa. Read moreI purchased a bar in May 2021 and was told it would be 4-6 months for arrival due to Covid. It is now March 2022 and I still have not received it. This entire time of waiting for the arrival I have never gotten a call in regards to my order. I have to call them every month for an update on an expected arrival time and have simply been told they do not know when it will arrive. Their first excuse was that the company was having problems getting the wood and then I was told they could not get a truck to pick it up. I asked for a refund and was told yes but minus 20% they would keep because they do not have to refund me per their store policy although I have no merchandise still and it is going on a year. Also, Brandon who is the store manager has an attitude because I am frustrated that no one can tell me anything about why there is no expected arrival date for it.
