This is a nice bar to visit every now and again. Went on a Friday most recently and it was which was good. As soon as we got in, the first stop was obviously the bathroom, except the line was sooo long. Good news is they had 2 porta potties right outside the front door so we were able to use those. Then we go to the bar and order doubles, but the bartender was kind of a jerk, saying that we shouldn’t be ordering doubles because it ruins the drink. I understand, but wasn’t even ordering craft cocktail, I was just ordering vodka soda. I told him I understood, but wanted a double and he made sure to mention again, that the mixologist job is to ensure that we don’t taste the alcohol in it. Jerry who was the manager for the evening and Stefon (The Bartender). If you both happen to see this thank you ooh so much for the night we had a blast. 10/10 recommend this place for a party. Although, I’ll say choose a lounge or booth if you want to reserve an area for you and friends. As the generic reservation isn’t the best and seating is limited. Also, the place tends to be filled with a mist that can be a bit overwhelming if you have breathing issues so beware. Second, reservation time is only 1 hour so make sure everyone in your party shows up on time! Lastly, don’t make the night hard on the bouncers, and employees. They’re there to have fun too! Read moreI recently visited Lowest Ferns in Kansas City and was very disappointed by the lack of professionalism shown by both the security and staff. The security personnel were rude and dismissive when asked for assistance, and the general attitude of the staff reflected poor training and disregard for customer experience. Based on other online complaints, this seems to be a recurring issue that management has not addressed, which is unacceptable for a business that relies on public trust and hospitality.
