Best Buy — Local services in Kansas City

If I could give them 0 stars I honestly would. I went in to get a product and it turned out they did not have it in stock, which is totally fine!

I decided to walk around to see if I could see any Christmas ideas and take a photo or 2 in order to remember the items I was wanting. Never doing anything with my bag which is a tiny 6" wide bag that fits my keys, wallet, and sunglasses before it is full.

I walked around for maybe 10 minutes max and then left as I could not get what I originally came for.

As I went to leave I was stop in front of many people to ask to open my bag "for security purposes"...all while others with large purses were walking out and not stopped.

I was profiled because of my attire (was wearing a Nike sweatshirt & some basic sweatpants with a beanie on) and I am assuming me not buying something and leaving with it.

It was absolutely uncalled for and quite frankly embarrassing to be stopped in front of multiple people to check my bag for stolen goods. I do not appreciate how it was handle and how judgemental the employees are since I literally gave them no reason to suspect theft.

I will be driving out to the Liberty Best Buy before I go back there and be treated...

I was in the store yesterday to purchase a new laptop. i just finished school and did a lot of research to find a laptop that works for me. i went into this location several times for help and advice on my options and everyone was always very helpful! when i came to purchase the laptop my situation became unique because my parents were offering to fulfill the purchase, but they live quite far from me. Mike was very helpful in explaining my payment options, and we chose to try the new “pay by link” option- it did not work as fast or efficiently as we hoped, but everything was okay because Mike was incredibly patient and pleasant throughout the whole ordeal. In the end, we placed a pickup order that i was able to take home w me. I am very thankful that no one looked at me funny for being a young girl clearly short of computer knowledge in this store, and everyone was so lovely while i was stuck there (and a little stressed) for an hour and a half! i am also very pleased w my laptop and i will definitely be returning to this location and asking for...

Came in and the door greeter told us he would get someone to help us find a watch. Online said two in stock. The guy that helped us took 30 minutes to look in back. Then said they had it in stock. Then came back out and said they are out. Another employee was standing there talking to the greeter the whole time instead of helping the other employee look. Seriously terrible customer service. Went to liberty best buy and walked out in ten minutes watch in hand....
