Not one to typically write a negative review but this was an unfortunate experience. Ordered six pastries, which is a $13.99 bundle. Instead of giving me the bundle the clerk overcharged me by ringing them up individually roughly $21.00. I calmly pointed the error out and highlighted the menu and the verbiage. The clerk seemed confused and asked someone else where it was on the screen and apologized saying it was completely a new item (its not). Then semantics about the bundle started spew from the mouth as an attempt to save face and not be accountable for the error and fix it. It was too early in the morning to put effort towards the conversation and I was not going to argue or try to tell the individual to read the words on the menu. I quickly assessed that conversation was not worth my time; quietly overpaid for some cinnamon rolls and bear claws; listened to a mildly appalled almost offended reaction when I said I do not have a Panera rewards card; and then I left only to contemplate the events and as it all settled in a review seemed the only logical approach. The loss of funds and the fact this clerk was in fact the Assistant Manager (who ought to at a minimum know the menu and set an example for their subordinates in customer care) is the primary reason I am writing this review. The sad part is the poor subordinate in the assistant managers shadow even tried to explain the menu to the manager and how she just ripped me off as I was leaving. Read moreI have never in my life experienced and seen such miss management. My better half is in the hospital and was craving a great soup, cheddar broccoli to be exact. After waiting in line for 10 minutes I was told that the wait for a soup was 30 minutes, after asking for a manager (Will) i asked if the soup was not ready and he stated it was, I again stated that I understand the short staffed issue and was not asking for a custom sandwich before anyone else because that would be rude. I only asked that he would go over and spoon soup in a bowl. If I was the manager I would have said to everyone in the establishment that if you are ordering a sandwich the wait would be 30 minutes, which I understand but if you want a soup we could handle that faster. I saw 7 people walk out that wanted soup alone, that is a loss of revenue and ridiculous to me especially since I myself am a manager. I called corporate and gave my complaint and all I got was sorry that happened, not asking for free food however I will say that I will never cater an event or eat at this place again. If your managers can't manage and make decisions that can accommodate your customers and the best interest of revenue and repeat customers than I will no longer give my companies/personal money again. Read moreBeen to this location twice and have been very underwhelmed both times. 1st time went through the drive through and ordered from there, got one of their cinnamon rolls (which I usually love), this one was small flat and stale. Today going through the drive through again...I had ordered ahead, early afternoon for a 730pm pick up after work. Ordered a chicken Ceasars salad and 2 pack of their bread bowls. So after work, hungry and tired I get to the drive through and the speaker guy says everything is ready pull up to the window. When I get to the window I am told they have sold out of the bread bowls. They knew I was coming, the order was there...and the email at 1251pm states everything will be ready. When I ask for a refund, the Manger asked I'd I wanted and extra piece of bread instead...like that is the same cost...nope...then they just said why don't I come in and sit and wait for the bread they have in the oven...about a 20 min wait. NOPE!!!! I am at the drive through for a reason...THEN when I get back to my hotel room and open the bag...there is someone else's food in the bag with my name and receipt. I had to double check it to make sure the correct name was on the bag. They did give me a refund when I called to tell them they gave me the wrong food, but I will NEVER go back to this...
