Wow, this place really needs some help! It's Saturday. I just came in here for the first time ever to give it a try, as ive been curious about it for awhile! I walked in, and while there was a couple sitting at the only table in the place, there was no one standing at the counter. I assumed the blonde girl in the back must be there alone, as she was busy making orders. She made eye contact with me 2-3 times and did not greet me, wave, smile..nothing. As I waited at the counter, I began to wonder if I was even in the right place because as I said, this was my first time in. A line started to form behind me. It had gained an additional 5 people. I stood there for about 10 minutes before she came out and finally took my order. When she came out, she quietly said, "What can I get for you?" Without looking me in the eyes, apologizing for the wait or anything. I gave her my order which was the Waffacado and a small Glow Getter Smoothie. She informed me they didn't have the Waffacado. (Fine, people run out of things, I get it. It must be good!) So I ordered the Berry Shortcake instead. Then she said they were out of the collagen for the smoothie and I didn't want to hold up the line so I just told her to make it without it. Once she took my order, she went to the back and made 3 order ahead orders while I waited for mine. Those 3 orders were from 3 of the people in line so I was almost the last one in there. She finally went back to make my order, and it took less than 10 minutes to make from the time she started on it. I was waiting in there for 30 minutes or more total. When I left I saw the name Lucy on my receipt. So I'm guessing that was the girls name. I would say that I felt bad for her being the only one in there, but I truly and genuinely cannot say that because she did not greet a single soul, nor did she smile even one time. And trust me, I know because I'm not one of the types of people who burries my face in my phone while I'm waiting. I observe everything. And this girl had ZERO customer service skills. A smile, a laugh, an explanation of her running the store on her own, an apology for the wait time, words of encouragement to "hang in there" or "bear with me" would've gone SUCH a long way. She looks young so maybe it's her first job or something, but making people feel welcome in your place of business is extremely important, and that was simply not...
Read moreNot posting this to be “mean”. I am hoping that management sees this post and uses it to better their process and company because I truly want this place to do well and stay open. It is so awesome having a juice place close by!
However, they need to have more than one employee on during a shift. I worked as a multi-unit and training manager for the largest and fasting growing health food start up at the time Juice Press. This store would be much more successful if there was an employee who worked at the register, this way customers could be greeted upon arrival and have their order taken. The juices and smoothies are made in the back here behind a closed door. I have come several times but on Saturday in particular there was a long line of people waiting to be served. The only employee working was trying their very best to keep up with demands but was in the back hustling to make orders while no one was being greeted causing people to walk out. One person can work on register and jump back to help on dishes when needed and one person can work smoothie bar or juice bar. Absolutely there should be 2 employees on on any Saturday morning. I tried to order ahead to avoid this but the order ahead said temporarily unavailable for this location. The employees are very nice and efficient but the task and set up of the store is not efficient enough to handle the demands without an additional employee on. The other time I had ordered ahead during a week day when I arrived the employee was in the back drinking a smoothie and didn’t see my order ahead ticket so began making it upon my arrival. I don’t mind if the employee wants to have a lunch or be in the back when the store isn’t busy but I would suggest having an additional printer in the back as well by the smoothie/juice bar to ensure all order ahead are seen no matter where the employee is located at the time.
Juice tasted great! I hope they can work on better scheduling and operational...
Read moreI've had the pleasure of visiting this location several times, and I can confidently say that each experience has been fantastic. The staff is always welcoming and attentive, providing wonderful service that makes you feel right at home. Makenzie, Gwen, Avery, and Campbell consistently greet me with a smile and deliver the best service. Each time, I try different items from their menu, and I am consistently impressed by the freshness and quality of the juices, smoothie bowls, and smoothies. They are packed with flavor and made from health-conscious ingredients that align with my lifestyle.
I’m genuinely thrilled to have such a nutritious option available near Zona Rosa. It’s a great addition to our community, and I wholeheartedly recommend that others check it out as well. I also encourage everyone to be understanding and supportive as the business navigates its current opening status and hours. It’s important for us to rally behind new establishments like this one, helping them grow and become a staple in our area.
Additionally, patience goes a long way, especially when ordering freshly made-to-order items! I am amazed to see reviews with complaints when the items are all prepared fresh and not...
