Cosentino's Apple Market — Local services in Kansas City

Horrible Customer Service. Do not go to this store unless you want the manager to dig in your bag after your transaction is finished. I stopped at Apple Market In Kansas City Mo on 7/13/2022 around 5pm. I needed to buy some eggs so I went in the store and went to the section where the eggs were at. I saw that there was a sign that said the eggs were on sale for $3.79 instead of the regular price of $5.79. When I got up to the register and proceeded to check out the eggs rang up $5.79 instead of the sale price I pointed it out to the cashier. The cashier sent the young man bagging the groceries back to check the price . He came back and said that the sign said $3.79.The cashier changed the price and called the manager over to do a price over ride she told her what happened fixed it and the cashier proceeded to check me out, our transaction was now over. I stood there with my basket as my sister checked out when The manager Beth came back and proceeded to start going in my basket and took one of the carton of eggs out Surprised I asked her what she was doing when she began walking away.Now mind you the grocery we’re already paid so why was this lady (Beth)going in my bags. This store has become something of a necessity for me and I stop in there 3 or more times a week to get the "fill in" things I need to get through until I do my regular shopping. Since I'm single I only need to do the big shopping once a month. I do wish they carried some of the larger items I buy on a regular basis, like the big containers of Yuban coffee, but it's okay. The store is always clean and the staff is extremely friendly. Sometimes I spend more time talking with them than it takes to complete my purchase. Given the "neighborhood" feel of the place it's not uncommon to have a brief conversation with other people who are there to do their shopping. Racist management. My daughter is constantly being harassed by the managers, LARRY is one of them. He bullied her on the workroom floor in front of customers, making her cry. He’s constantly following her making her feel uncomfortable as well. I previously spoke to another manager before this incident and she was also rude and very racist. It’s sad that I have to teach my daughter how to deal with racist management. Including that they withheld her from getting paid 3 times in a row. Yeah they had 3 of her paychecks and wouldn’t give them to her when she first started working, then mailed her the first check as if it came from a different location and acted like they couldn’t just give her the checks.
