I have to say that I used to really love this store back when Ashley and Connor worked there. Not the new Connor (the new manager.) I was on first name basis with everyone and they knew me when I came in. Were always so nice and helpful. Engaged each person who came in in conversation. Were so attentive. Now, thereās only ever one person working behind the counter. Thereās rarely any good games on the shelves. Their inventory doesnāt match the website so Iāve called ahead the last few times Iāve gone only to find out they didnāt have it in stock. (Might just be the website) The new hires donāt really seem to stay long nor do they seem to know much about the product they sell. They have the basic knowledge of games and consoles but Iāve tried to engage in conversation with the employees about specs on the PS5 or new games coming out. They donāt seem too interested in discussing things like that much. Itās gotten to the point that I just do all my preorders online and have it shipped to my house. When they do an early game release, itās so unorganized. Theyāll give you a number but wait until the last moment to have everyone line up in order. Depending on the game being released the store can be really packed or empty. On a night a big game is being released. Itās usually full. So when the line isnāt started by number until the last minute. Thereās a lot of crowding and bumping into each other. This GameStop just isnāt what it used to be. I miss the old employees. Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is for an online purchase for my sonās birthday. The customer service is terrible! I purchased an Xbox one S with 500gb storage only to find out it had 365gb. I have spent over 4 hours on the phone trying to get a solution. I was given the run around from the two reps and two supervisors I spoke with. They stated the rest of the gbs are from the standard operating system, lol. I have had many Xboxās with 500gb been able to download games with storage left. I have only been able to put 2 games on the Xbox. Then they admitted they sold me an Xbox with a hard ware issue and it does not fall on them and I have to take it up with Microsoft because they are the ones who sell them to GameStop. I was shocked to say the least the false advertisement is real! Beware that when you think you are paying for a 500gb, 1tb, 2tb if very well could not be that amount of storage you are paying for! Then they tell you itās not their fault and thereās nothing they can do even though their website says youāre purchasing a 500gb...

And while waiting over a hour (not the problem) for them to update my console and test it for them to buy. I set my duffle bag on the ground by their front desk. I then came back today the first day they were open since it was after Christmas and Tali stated that it may have got thrown out. This wouldnāt be near as frustrating if the bag didnāt have my name embroidered on it and they didnāt take my drivers license and enter in all my info to trade in my system. The problem is that I guess they cannot put the two together and maybe give me a call since they had my license info and phone number or atleast hold it for two days to see if someone asked about it.
