The experience my son and I had with this location was very disturbing to say the least. Not only are we coming from trauma, the director made us feel very unwelcome and uncomfortable. There was constant instability when it came to rotating of teachers in which they all besides the assistant director seemed uninterested and inattentive. My son felt very uncomfortable and left out while at this facility. They would ignore my sons needs which caused him even more trauma. He was once excited to attend this facility, then he became fearful and saddened when we would arrive to this facility after 3days. I immediately unenrolled my son from this facility as they were not a good fit for my son and his well-being. After I sent a message explaining I would be removing my son from this facility the director never responded but posted a picture of my son on his profile after I removed our information. This was very disturbing and I do have all communication and even what Michelle, this facility director, did after I removed our information. I hope other parents are aware of the inattentive staff, the instability of teachers and a condescending director who tried to purposely make my child feel uncomfortable and out of place. My son has been attending for a year now, having started at the Barry Road center before we made the move to North Oak when it opened. I couldn’t be happier with the care and attention he receives.

From day one, it was clear that the caregivers at North Oak are truly dedicated to the well-being and development of the children. My son looks forward to going in every day, and it’s heartwarming to see the genuine care they provide. The staff goes above and beyond to create a nurturing environment where children feel safe and happy.

The transition from Barry Road was seamless, and I appreciate how the team has adapted and implemented new programs and activities that keep my son engaged and excited about learning. Communication with the staff has been excellent, and I always feel informed about his progress and the daily happenings at the center.

We had to start daycare pretty unexpectedly and the staff were so quick to respond and help us out! I put out requests to many different daycares in the area but BLC was at the top of our list because the reviews were all so great. The North Oak location was the one we got enrolled at but it wasn’t quite open yet, so the staff went above and beyond to make one of the other locations work for us temporarily since we needed daycare ASAP. Could not be more thankful for how helpful they all were! On the childcare front, they have all been so great with our little guy and getting him acclimated to a completely different childcare. He was being watched at home previously (really for the first year of his life) so it was a major adjustment for us. They have all been so great with him and us!
