Attended a party at Aviate. If I could give this a negative star I would. This was a birthday party for a 10 yr old child. NO SECURITY. ANYONE CAN WALK IN AND CAUSE HARM TO YOUR CHILD!! We had an incident were 2 teens were dropped off by parents who apparently think this is a babysitting service. These teens lured some younger boys to a dark, off-limits area with the intent to cause them harm. The young boys (7-10)fell for their scheme and did as the cooler, older boys dared them to do and then realized that they were just big bullies and ran away. Unfortunately, the youngest boy was caught by the arm and had to wrestle his way out of the bullies grasp. Now, I do have to say that the other boys summoned help from Mom, Dad and other adults at the party and the issue was handled in an adult manner by the parents. Very classy considering the perpetrators were children too. The father of the little boy explained to these boys how one act of malice could ruin someone's life; including their life. He had them call their parents for a pick up. As for management...they have a barely 20-something running the show. Everyone else working there seems to be a minor. You pay a PREMIUM for a party where no security is provided, all liability is on the attendees playing and there wasn't even enough pizza to feed all guests. I would provide photos of the "fun" the kids may have had, but we were sat on the 2nd floor behind a black tarped area which did not allow us to even monitor the children unless we were on the ground floor away from the RESERVED party area. Don't even get me started on the the ONE, filthy, unisex restroom!🤢 Save you money and take the kids elsewhere to have fun. If you're just coming to jump for an hour this place is great. So we were thinking what a great place for a birthday party!

Wrong. Don't have a birthday party here, especially for what it costs. You aren't allowed to bring any food and they over charge you for cold pizza hut. I was not allowed to set the room up in advance so I spent my "party time" setting up (our party time was noon - 2). It takes so much time to "check your guests in" so it took 30 minutes of our jumping time just to get people wrist bands. I asked for water for our guests after being there for an hour and was answered with very rude employees acting like I was bothering them when I just spent $700 dollars. It is a jump place. We were thirsty. They were literally in the room at 1:57 kicking us out of the room so they could set up for the next party. It was extremely stressful. My kid had a great time but with absolutely no help from the venue. The staff is rude and acts like you are bothering them if you ask them ANYTHING. I was prepared to tip the staff thinking they would be helpful but that was not the case. I understand the “for-profit” business model but feel that Wichita Sports Forum crossed the line in checking purses and bags for outside food & beverages (& later changed it to “weapons”) during a volleyball tournament today. I was told that the facility is paid to host the tournament where teams come from all over the state to play. They actually demanded that personal reusable water bottles be emptied of the “outside contraband water”!!! One mom refused and had to leave her personal water bottle up at the front. It’s INTRUSIVE & OBNOXIOUS. It is also DISCRIMINATORY—What about people with diabetes, food allergies, special diets, that can’t eat what they serve?? What about those watching their budget because they already paid a lot for club volleyball fees, hotels, etc?? Club sports are not cheap and many parents struggle to provide their children these opportunities. What irritates me is people who bring their own snacks will still buy their food, so why go out of your way to infuriate people using your facility?? Don’t you want them to come back?
