Freezing Moo catered my wedding and it was AMAZING! Coordinating everything was a breeze; the marketing manager was prompt and friendly and in a handful of emails, we had everything all set up. Staff showed up on time, with all of the goodies, and all of our guests just LOVED it! We hosted a vegan wedding and no problem with options. Several of the ice cream bases can be made with coconut milk, so we got to have vanilla, chocolate, coffee, and matcha :-D And there are plenty of Friendly toppings too! When I first mentioned vegan options to the marketing coordinator, she personally called the manufacturing companies for the different toppings just to make doubly sure they were indeed Friendly. Talk about above and beyond! We also wanted brownies with our ice cream (because, well... ice cream and brownies) but their supplier doesn't make a vegan version; so they were totally willing to accommodate and let us supply our own brownies from a local bakery (Hooray for Nice Bites, too!) to use. SO, if you don't want a stuffy old wedding cake with gross frosting that no one really wants to eat, you can have Freezing Moo ice cream that is delicious, AND entertaining, AND a total hit with the guests, AND you don't have to worry about what to do with 50 slices of leftover wedding cake.
TLDR: Service? Prompt and friendly. People? Fun and super accommodating. Dessert? Vegan friendly options, delicious, entertaining and a smash hit with party guests. Overall experience? Worth every penny. Skip the stuffy cake; book with...
Read moreThe taste was really good. But we really upset because of the attitude of the staff at that night. We came with the whole family including three kids. And they really want to see how the ice cream made so that I brought them close to place the staff making icecream, they're really excited then one of the staff asked me if it's my order turn, I said not yet but I want my kids to see the icecream making process and she said we are not allowed to come close to see, I have to take my kids away with the very rude attitude like she wanted to command me. I was shocked and really upset, how could she talk to customers that way? And there are no lines there, I didn't take place of anybody else, why couldn't I just stay and let my kids have some joy by watching making icecream? I didn't see any warnings that says you have to stay away until you've got called. I may have not upset if the staff explained to me with a nicer attitude. She's so rude by raising her voice and look at me with the unfriendly eyes. She is the asian girl with glasses. She broke the mood of the family...
Read moreSo right off the bat, walking in to the building, we were hit with the smell of spoiled milk and no staff in sight. We waited a few minutes before an employee finally came out and we got to order. We ordered our ice cream, paid, and walked over to the tables to sit and wait for our order to be finished. Upon looking for a good place to sit we noticed that not only were all tables covered in crumbs and wet or sticky smears and spots, but the floor was filthy, with more crumbs, pieces of trash, and sticky residue. It is as if when they sweep (if they do at all) they simply brush everything against that wall and call it good. Hopefully the aforementioned spoiled milk smell is just from spilled ice cream by the tables and not deeper in the restaurant. After we got our ice cream we left to go sit outside to get away from the disgusting state of the inside. Our ice cream was okay, my fiancé had a splinter in his ice cream from a toothpick, we could not finish our ice cream after the ordeal. You’re better off paying $2 at braums...
