EXCELLENT STORE, EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS! ☆☆☆☆☆♡THIS STORE IS WHAT A DOLLAR ZONE REALLY LOOKS LIKE & PUTS TO SHAME AWFUL DOLLAR TREE. FIRST, OF ALL ITS SPOTLESSLY CLEAN,NEATLY ORGANIZED, & ARRANGED & IT GIVES A VERY GOOD POSITIVE ENERGY TO THE ATMOSPHERE WHEN A PLACE IS CLEAN, TIDY & BRIGHT. FILTHY STORES WITH MOLD GIVE OFF NEGATIVE VIBES,STRESS,ANXIETY & ARE DEPRESSING, I DONT LIKE DIRTINESS. THIS STORE MADE A GREAT FIRST IMPRESSION. IF THIS WAS A PLACE FOR INSPECTION THEY'D GET 110%- A+ BECAUSE ITS A STORE IN IMPECCABLE SHAPE. TO ADD TO THAT THE OWNER IS VERY NICE & HAS A LARGE STAFF ALL OVER 50+, HE ACTUALLY TREATS HUMANELY & RESPECTFULLY. NOTHING LIKE GREEDY CORPORATE DOLLAR TREE THAT TREATS EMPLOYEES LIKE SWEATSHOP MACHINES PAYING THEM MINIMUM WAGE.. I VERY MUCH ENJOY SUPPORTING & SHOPPING AT SMALL BUSINESSES LIKE DOLLAR ZONE, ITS TOO SAD I NOT ONLY CURRENTLY LIVE FAR, BUT DONT STAY PUT FOR LONG ENOUGH IN ONE PLACE/CITY/STATE TO VISIT OFTEN BC I'M NOMADIC & MOVE SO FREQUENTLY THAT I DONT GET TO ESTABLISH THE TYPE OF ENDURING RELATIONSHIPS WITH SMALL BUSINESSES & BUSINESS OWNERS THAT I'D LIKE TO BUILD, TO ENJOY & RELISH TREASURES LIKE DOLLAR ZONE. WISE WORDS OF ADVICE YOU GUYS TRAVEL ALL YOU WANT EXTENSIVELY, BUT DONT MOVE SO FREQUENTLY LIKE I HAVE TO BC NOT ONLY IS IT STRESSFUL ,BUT YOU ALSO DO MISS OUT ON A LOT,YOU MIGHT GAIN A GOOD AMOUNT OF EXPERIENCES, FRIENDSHIPS, GET TO SEE NEW PLACES, BUT YOU SACRIFICE, GIVE UP & LOOSE OUT ON A LOT OF...
Read moreI've been a frequent customer here, spending well over $100 on each visit while my mother gets her hair done next door. Typically, my experiences have been good. However, my most recent visit was incredibly disheartening, and unfortunately, I won't be returning.
I was there with my teenage nephew, who has special needs, and he had a potty accident. I quickly took him to the restroom, and before heading back to the car for his clear diaper bag (which contains his clothes, adult diapers, and wipes), I informed the front desk that I needed to use the restroom for a diaper change due to an accident. Shortly after, a male employee knocked on the restroom door and left a bucket of cleaning supplies, instructing me to clean the restroom.
While I understand the need for cleanliness, this response lacked any empathy for a sensitive situation involving a special needs individual. My nephew's accident only required basic wiping and a diaper change; no extensive cleaning was needed. I left the restroom spotless using my own supplies. As I exited, the same employee stopped me again to ask if I had cleaned the restroom. I confirmed that I had, but the entire interaction left me feeling unsupported and frankly, quite unwelcome. It was a deeply uncomfortable experience, and as a result, I won't be bringing my...
Read moreI have been to my share of Dollar Stores in my life. I believe after a while and enough visits to your local "Dollar Tree" you anticipate a certain level of Cleanliness that is not exactly 10/10. Dollar Zone is NOT that place. I was absolutely shocked, the store is spotless and its huge. I walked from aisle to aisle and litterally did not see ONE item out of place. The selection is incredibly and has just about anything you would need. The store is family run and in this case is SHOWS. I would strongly reccomend visiting Dollar Zone, I know I will be back.
It's refreshing to be so kindly greated when you walk in. I spoke with Aliya, upon check out and complimented her on how well put togather the store was. To show you the kind of people who run this store, Aliya stated all the credit should be given to her stock person. Never took credit, was a smiling pleasent person. All in all an incredibly experience. Aliya and this store SHOULD be the example of how to run a business and how to treat customers. Thanks Dollar Zone for...
