It's a place that, if I lived near one, I would shop at on a regular basis, especially for the meats, many options of which are priced competitively. It is a place where one needs to do a price comparison to the same products at HEB, Sam's Club, Costco, and some products are well priced, and others are not. There is a limit on organic produce. And I can't imagine what their waste is going to be to keep those fruits and vegetables stocked. That's because it is one of those places where there is a little bit of not very much. I would have given one star but the manager/shift leader (Carlos) was a friendly gentleman and was apologetic. Last week I spent around $100 worth of merchandise and after the fact I realized the items I got was already expired. I went in today (8/23/23) and was observant and noticed they LIKE to sell EXPIRED merchandise. I told Carlos (the shift leader/manager) and he was apologetic but if you see the images they have expired products for sale. He told me I couldn’t do anything about it for the items I got last time but just be observant when getting items from here. I’ve visited Gordon Restaurant Market twice, and it’s a decent option for restaurant supplies without needing a membership—kind of like wholesales but for foodservice items. The selection is good, and the quality seems fine.

However, I was a little disappointed with the prices. I expected deeper wholesale discounts, but some items weren’t as cheap as I hoped. It’s still better than regular grocery stores, but not the bargain I was looking for.
