francesca's — Local services in Katy

I've shopped at Francesca's stores throughout the U.S. Wherever I travel, when I see this store, I'm drawn to it like a moth to a flame. It's usually a cheerful space with same energy from staff. I can always find cute gifts or a piece of jewelry. That changed for me yesterday when my Daughter and I where doing a little Xmas shopping and stopped in (I dragged my Daughter in, lol) this Cinco Ranch store location. The boutique size store was charming but the two ladies working there were not. NOTE TO OWNER and staff: Please consider adding customer service training as this area seems to be missing. You'll find, at the least, a simple courtesy like customer acknowledgement, greeting and/or eye contact upon their arrival will go along way. Not sure but perhaps putting away stock was greater priority? Disappointed and found it easy to leave immediately upon arrival without making a purchase because of the unfriendly, unwelcome and disinterest feeling given...

I was looking for a comfy place to do some shop therapy. I was drawn by the cute items in the windows and was ready to spend a good amount of money there. I ended up wanting to get out of there as quickly as I could.

No social distancing enforced in such a small boutique. Merch is clogged. Size availability is imbalanced.

Make sure that you are given advertised discounts correctly as, apparently, the “system” miscalculates buy one get one deals. Do not trust the clerks to be honest at this store, especially if you are a person of color.

Great store so I'll give the store...5 Stars! I was disappointed when I went in to make an even exchange for a pair of shoes I had purchased. I bought a size 6.5 and exchanged for a size 7, or at least that's what the box was labeled. The shoes on display were a size 7 and I pulled the box labeled size 7 assuming that the shoes in the box would be that size. When I got home I noticed the shoes in the box were a size 7.5. I am disappointed that I'll have to make another trip back to the store. Isn't it a common practice for sales staff to check size of the shoes in the box? Because of this experience I'm giving the...
