HOW TO LOOSE A REGULAR CUSTOMER FOR .50 cents. -
I have to start this review by saying, I am a regular customer for this location. I stop by twice a week always in between 6-7am. It’s been very convenient for me as they have a drive through and fast service. And I drive by it every single day on my way to 99. I order for my clients 2-3 dozen kolaches every time.
This location is always clean, I really didn’t have any complaints until the manager was the one helping me today.
This morning I went by, ordered two dozen kolaches and a large cup of coffee. After I paid I asked the lady for an additional empty cup. She said it was .50 cents. I didn’t have any cash and a card transaction minimum was $5.
I had to pull forward and wait for my order which was ok with me. I found a dollar bill and I went inside to get my additional empty cup. (Or so I thought). “Erika” hands me a small empty cup, I asked her for a large one and she is quick to tell me that she can’t sell a large cup. Keep in mind an EMPTY cup! I ask her to charge me a dollar it’s ok. She refused to, telling me that she can’t do that and they only sell the small cup for .50c. No problem, just let me cancel my order all together. She happily gave me a refund for my $73.22 order. She didn’t even care. I tell her that it’s called customer service and not a way to run a business. And she was being difficult with me since the beginning. She goes to tell me “I could have given you the cup” oh really? Whatever ma’am. She refused to give me her managers information saying that is private info. And she can’t share it.
It all comes down to: What keeps a business afloat is your regular clients, and the way to keep people coming in is by providing a good accommodating service, easy on the customer. It’s so unfortunate how an employee like that can ruin a business. I personally will never stop by again. I will happily start ordering again from Kolache factory on the other side of the street. (They don’t have a drive through and that’s why I switched to this location). It wasn’t even about the money, little less...
Read morepoor service all around, lady who was taking order at the speaker lacks manners. no good morning nor a thank you or you're welcome. asked my mother to repeat herself when she said coconut and i spoke for her because she cannot hear apparently. happened a couple more times and she doesn't even ask you to "repeat it please?". i ordered loud and clear and when it was time to pay i realized this sorry excuse of a food service worker forgot to charge some items i requested but i couldn't mention it because, well, she forgot to charge them. to add onto that, i saw her bagging our things roughly almost angrily and i held my eye contact with her. honestly it's embarrassing because i'm sure she wouldn't want her parents to go through such treatment if she were in the passenger seat. she would be quick to speak up for them too. she's just not fit for this job, anything in customer service. both of the ladies didn't say have a nice day or anything either. disgusting. but i've been reading the comments and needless to say this is the expectation this shipley has set. this is their bar. the bar is extremely low. it's repulsive knowing the shop is a year or so old too. now about the food, it seems old and a bit stiff. where the hell is my cinnamon twist? at least have the balls to say it was your mistake and not make your coworker give face for it. nonetheless much love to the past workers who've attended us and are sweet. today's worker was blonde and mexican most likely with lash extensions that weigh down her eyelids. probably young so of this generation and they are terrible with these kinds of jobs, no surprise. focus on hiring...
Read moreWe went through the dt on our way to school and ordered half a dozen of kolaches , I specifically asked for regular kolaches not bold, double checked before we left the dt, and a few minutes later, my kids started complaining they're spicy. At this point I couldn't do anything because we're already on our way to school. I stopped by the store on my way home, and the manager "Erika" said there wasn't anything she could do, that sometimes the sausage comes like that. I asked for my receipt because she didn't give it to me earlier and she said I had to wait for a while because she was busy. I proceeded to ask for customer service number, and she gave me a number with a local area code, which, of course it wasn't a working number. While waiting for our kolaches the lady behind the manager, was organizing the donuts without gloves. The time before today, the cashier had just finished handling a cash transaction before me, I proceeded to place my order and when she grabbed the kolaches, she didn't change her gloves, I requested her to please change her gloves and give me new kolaches. We're definitely done visiting...
