I usually don’t do reviews but this experience truly hurt me. Brianna the staff member was extremely rude. I came across this place in research excited to give it a try and received such terrible customer service. It’s sad because I came in wanting to purchase items for my two-year-old daughter but after my encounter with Brianna it turned me completely off. My first interaction with her was her immediately touching one of my items (mind you she was in the midst of looking through a pile of items and did not even greet me) to only tell me, “I will tell you now we won’t be able to purchase this item.” I said okay that’s fine. Before I could check in completely, she was already asking me my name. So I let both of these encounters go, but then she proceeds to tell me you’re good to go (no receipt given to me or anything). I then requested for the receipt then she asks, “are you staying in the store or dropping off?” I said dropping off then she stated, okay we can’t give you an estimated time but you’ll have 24 hours to pick up your items once you receive an offer but if I stayed in the store she estimated it would take 30 minutes (at this point I’m confused b/c how you’re able to give this estimation based on one or two options). Finally, about 3 hours later they send me a text to respond within 24 hours about what they offered me to either accept or decline. I called and of course I am speaking with the associate Brianna again, she informs me that “Well, you usually pre-approve for us to keep the items if you don’t accept our offer. But since you’re “new” we’ll go ahead and put your items to the side for you to pick up.” No where on the screen did it say that when I signed up. No where in the text did it mention that either. In fact, while I was signing in, I literally selected to pick up items if I didn’t accept the offer when it asked what would they like for them to do with my items. She also told me out her own mouth as well that I would have 24 hours to pick up MY items. Then, also when I was in the store, I saw the owner (I believe) ask a lady did she want the items they didn’t buy from her back. It’s very clear that they don’t won’t my service, so after picking up MY items, I will NEVER return here. It costs zero dollars to treat people with kindness no matter what...
Read moreEerytime i have gone i can barely walk through the store and even less possible with my stroller because it's always crowded the store is too small the clothes and shoes are in good condition but just little sections of each size because of how much they try to fit into the store ,thers always lines in the registers because of people trying to sell their stuff, and thats fine but should have more people checking out in that case. (Even while u stand to pay thers people trying to walk through you to browse cuz the little space) . I went to purchase an activity center for my 6 month old but all the ones they had there were missing the main part (the platform they stand on,the baby will just hang there without it its useless) I asked about it and they told me thats how they buy them and thats why they cost less than the store, they told me to contact the manufacturer and buy the missing platform off them but I mights well just buy it new in store in that case. Thers always toys and boxes of clothes in the way because it looks like they have more than they can handle and the employees constantly trying to keep up. I think thats because it looks like they buy almost anything off you just to make a profit iv seen baby clothes from shein being sold at the same price as carters. I just tought they had higher standards for all the items they sell and buy because thats what they advertise but so far disappointed in the store compared to once upon a child. For reference I have purchased items there iv bought baby shoes and swimsuit that were new about half off retail and its fine, but I also took my nephew with me and he picked out a toy they sell some taped up he picked out a taped up ball of random little cars , we opened them up once we got home and the cars had dirt on them they could atleast try cleaning them or not buy dirty toys from people. Iv gone twice and it gets worse i probably won't go a 3rd time unless they...
Read moreI’ve gotten some really great priced clothes for my toddler here & I appreciate that. But selling has not been the best experience. I’ve come early within an hour of opening and there is only one or two other drop offs to look through ahead of mine but I’ve waited inside the store for up to an hour and a half when I was told 45 mins and asked if my stuff was looked through yet then I’ve been told “oh no we still have another 30-45 minutes!” I have a toddler with me every time because I can’t make it there without him. I stay home with him so he can only behave or be there for so long. The last few times I have to leave my stuff but then they don’t look at it until the end of the day and don’t give me a quote till the end of the day. I always end up having to come back the next day. My other qualm is that when I first brought stuff to them, they gave me a lot more $$ than the last few times and it was just infant stuff which they sell for less than my 18 month stuff. I bring about the same size bag every time. At this point gonna start trying to take my stuff somewhere else because I know they are under paying for my things yet I was told “oh we don’t sell the 12-18 months for much” no but if you’re selling a nice top for $4.99 I should at least be getting .75 to $1 each if not more for that!! Last time they took 42 items which included a toy and gave me $35 that’s crazy and not right IMO, that’s not even a dollar a piece, and there were really nice Old Navy button down tops in there that I know they sell for five dollars each! It’s disappointing because I really want to be able to support them but I can’t basically give away tops that I’ve paid upwards of $17-25 each for!! If I’m gonna do that I’ll just give it to my neighbor for...
