First of all the lady At the front with short hair i forgot her name was very sweet and informative she had short black hair very good with customer service and answered all my questions i had. I came sunday the 11th for a birthday party for my son he was turning 6. We walk in and get our table ready and theres no one helping or assisting us. So we set everything up and still no one comes to check on us and check us in so i walk to the front to see what is going on and if someone will take the kids to the activities or what or how the events were going to take place as it was my first time going and didnt know how everythjng was handled. Ive had plenty of parties at places with multiple events and they all had a party host or someone who helped coordinate and walk the parents through the itinerary of how the party was going to go so the parents can relax and just accompany the children to the events. The lady would tell me that the event was ready so i gathered the kids and we would go, i had laser tag first i take the kids to the arena area and the parents had to assist with the vests and strapping them. We had no instructions or anyone helping us when normally there is a person in tht designated area tht helps with vests and instructions on how to shoot the gun. The kids were asking me and i only knew because when i went prior and talked the the front desk lady as mentioned above she explained how to shoot the gun and all to me. During the game my sons vest stopped working and another kid that attended the parties as well so they had to go out and have it fixed. Next we had nerf gun war and alot of the guns malfunctioned and wernt shooting or jammed and couldnt get it to work. While the kids were playing nerf gun u have to go to the bar to order food so i ordered pizzas for the party and drinks were capri suns which is all separate from the party. The cook guy was a huge help and very informative and helpful he had a beard taller gentleman very nice he checked in on my party more than anyone else in the building. When it was food and cake time i had to go to the bar everytime to ask for plates and a knife to cut the cake all of which in my party experiences for my son never have i ever been at a more unorganized foundation. Me n my mom were running around trying to figure out what we had to do next or where to go. All very confusing and didnt appreciate the effort the staff had not put in. It was a very nice facility plenty of things to do but for a bday party never again. My kids had alot of fun which is all that matters but for the host hving the party they shouldnt be running around trying to figure out how the party is going to go about and asking for every little thing when the facility should be more organized in taking care of there parties where u would think a good chunk of money comes from parties since paying individual pricings for everyone that wants to participate in...
Read moreThis is a wonderful concept, I just wish I could say it was executed better. I went on a Saturday night, specifically, March 4th. The attractions are as follows:
In one room, you have nerf wars, Lazer tag, and bazooka ball, all glow in the dark.
In their Wide open room, you have paintball and miniball.
Axe throwing is in its own seperate area.
All of these re connected to the main room, where a live band plays every Saturday. The main room also has a bar, and a counter to rent more gear for the paintball/miniball arena.
I'm not going to lie, first impressions, I was excited. Everything seemed pretty fun, and I wanted to try all of them. I stopped, however, after only three.
Axe throwing, I had a genuinely good time, even if I couldn't really aim for anything. I have no complaints about this. They nailed it.
In laser tag, two people had vests that weren't working and had to walk out to have them fixed. I did sit down for a bit with some pizza after i played, and got to see that it was a very common occurrence where the vests fail. The arena is also extremely bland and boring. Just some blackights and full black walls. They could easily add decals to them to both help visibility and make it easier to tell where you are. Ontop of this, stopping light from getting inthrlugh the door would also greatly help immerse the players, and again, improve visibility.
In miniball, I was very upset. The gun kept jamming (something I was thankfully able to fix) but using it for roughly twenty seconds and then having to stop to fix a jam wasn't fun in the slightest. I thought I was shooting it wrong, and double checked with one of the clerks, only to find out I was doing everything right.
Overall, they need some heavy improvements. Expanding the glow in the dark room, giving it decals, and investing in better equipment would be the bare minimum. It feels like they had amazing ideas and ran out of money halfway there. I do hope they get the funding they need to finish out the ideas, because it has potential, just not the proper...
Read moreThe only good thing about this place was the lady that helped us and brought my son his t-shirt. I had high expectations for this place. We signed up for 4 games. Laser tag, mini ball, nerf war and bazooka ball. The room for the laser tag is small, it was me, my husband, my daughter and son. 4 people were on 1 team against 2 people. My sons gun didn’t work, so he had to take it for them to fix. Then we played nerf war, it was the same room we played laser tag in, this time it was just us 4 and we didn’t get to play against anyone. Then we played bazooka ball, this was in the same room that we played the other 2 in, this time we played against small kids. Finally mini ball was the last game, we played only against each other. We went to sit at our table waiting for the lady to tell us when our next game was. She stopped by to give my son his shirt, which was cool but I did tell her that I was very disappointed. Then she left and never came back to get us for the last game, instead the guy that runs the counter with the guns and masks came and yelled at us. Saying he had been looking for us. We followed him, they gave us the guns, this time we were able to play in the big area with the trucks inside, but again disappointed because it was just us 4 playing. The guns kept jamming. I was misinformed about mini ball, when I called to make the reservation the man told me that mini ball was like paint ball, that they were little jelly balls that had paint in them and would splatter, these were plastic balls. Not what I expected. Overall it was a disappointing experience and wish I would have spent my hard earned money at an arcade,...
