The clothes at Duluth are undoubtedly high quality, long-lasting, and tough. When I was there today, I realized that I was wearing my Fire Hose pants that I've owned for 13ish years.
They have a wide variety of lines, but that can also be a little confusing. What is the difference between the "regular" unbranded items and the Alaskan brand? Other than the warmth of some of the items, it's hard to tell.
Adding to the confusion, they've taken some of their successes (for instance, the Fire Hose material for others) and used them to market other items. For instance, "CoolMax Fire Hose" clothes read as though they are a slightly lighter version of the regular Fire Hose. Inspection reveals that they are nothing of the sort.
Over the last several years, there has been a steady increase in price. The 30% sales used to be something special. Now, coincidentally, the 30% off sale brings the price to what they used to be prior to the increases.
The guarantee isn't all it used to be (1 year vs lifetime), but they are more than accommodating in processing returns. The service overall is very friendly and helpful.
Overall, they have great clothes for a decreasingly...
Read moreCame in for one pair of jeans left with both a pair of very comfortable relaxed fit ballroom cut jeans and and even more comfortable pair of fleece lined fire hose pants. Total bill was around $130.00. This was my first time shopping at a Duluth store, when I walked in an associate immediately greeted me from afar, then walked up to me and respectfully asked if I needed help finding anything. I told her what I wanted and she asked me if I ever shopped there before, then gave me a quick tour of the store while leading me to the section that matched what I wanted while giving advice for different fits between the styles, asking probing questions to better serve my needs and tastes. My size was very easy to find, which is strange for me as a 46x34 who usually has to order my clothes online. Another associate was nearby and readily answered any questions I had and showed me to the dressing rooms which were very clean and sanitized after each use. 5/5 will recommend, and will definitely revisit. Thanks to Kelli (spellcheck) and the other associates whose names I can't remember for a great shopping experience. Was definitely worth the drive clear across town for...
Read moreFirst time being too a Duluth trading co, only saw it on TV and thought it was a big and tall store only. After a advertisement on underwear, I decided to check it out. The two ladies that help me with finding the right underwear, and checking me out at the register were both super nice. There are soo many options to pick, but I decided to go with the The “ BUCKED NAKED” models. I have to say, I threw all my other boxes away after wearing them. It really presents my package very well. I’ve had 5 different women say something about the boxers . I absolutely enjoy them. I own a business and I went back and wanted to look at pants for my employees, but they don’t have any black that’s not heavy canvas material. Try...
