We elected to choose Pediatric Dental Safari for our ortho services because we were very pleased with our bi-annual dental services. Big mistake. Although the dental staff was nice, doing business with the business office was a nightmare. I signed a contract with a $1000 deposit, and agreed to monthly payments. They required payments due by the first, however, after speaking with the business office advised the 15th would be better and they agreed. However, after 3 months, they started attempting to take payments at the first of the month. When I inquired, the business office staff stated it was only for 90 days, which was not we agreed on. As a result payments were missed. When I arrived to a monthly ortho appointment, they attempted to deny service in front of my child due to lack of payment. I immediately took care of the past due payments and my child was seen. After that, I had issues after issues with the billing staff which resulted in a call asking for payment in full for the entire 24 month treatment when the full treatment has not been rendered. I advised I would discuss with my husband due to the large amount being requested. My husband and I agreed to the best interest of business and to continue treatment for our daughter, to pay the balance in full. When I called back to pay the balance in full, I was advised the business manager RW Williams or Aris, not sure the correct spelling of the name, refused to take our payment and terminated our services. Yes you heard that correctly, even with a payment in full, they refused future ortho treatments for our sweet girl. My daughter was devastated because she has been going to this office since 1st grade. I talked to Mariam and Angela various times and requested a call back from the owner or business office manager and months later I still have not received a call from their staff to explain. We did receive a termination letter and refund for payments that were overpaid. Yes thatâs correct, at the time of termination, I had over paid which means I wasnât behind on payments nor did I owe them any money. The business office staff was rude, and incredibly unprofessional. I would highly discourage anyone from doing ortho services with this dental office. I am telling all my friends in Katy do no use this service or business. It too many offices willing to do business in the correct way to work with one that doesnât. Donât do business with Pediatric...

Weâve been here a couple times now and most my coworkers bring their kids here, never heard of any negative feedbacks. The front desk staffs, dental hygienists and the dentists are very professional and kids friendly. But for this visit, this assistant, Alex, had ruined the reputation. I understand everyone has a bad day, but for choosing to work in pediatric settings, she needs to do better. Besides needing a bit more patience and smiles, her attitudes were not acceptable even with adults. My daughter is 5, from kicking her feets to make her feet lean against the wall for her height measurement, to putting a pulse-ox probe on her finger, she does not want to communicate with the kids. Very short and blunt, âgive me your finger!â Then as a kid, my daughter asked âwhat is this for? why does it clip my finger?â She didnât bother explaining, I had to give her the answers instead. She is making the atmosphere so tensed! Then she dropped one of the tools on the floor, she picked it up, put back on the hanger and said âitâs fine, we are not gonna use it!â Then she wanted to look at my daughterâs teeth, instead of asking, didnât put gloves on, her hand was touch everything in the office and went ahead put her fingers inside her mouth touching her teeth. When the dentist and the hygienist came in, they talked to my daughter with an uplifting vibe, a way of communicating with kids so they are not so nervous, I immediately saw a big smile on my daughterâs face and not as nervous. When the dentist asked Alex to keep the nasal prong on my daughter nose to wash out nitrous right after taking it off of my daughterâs nose, she showed frustrations and kept reading her text messages on her Apple Watch and ignore the dentist until the dentist came back to ask her again. When she had to take X-ray, she was very rough with my daughter, asked her to open and bite down and she didnât bite down, she just pushed her chin, my daughter started gagging, she then came out and asked her coworker to come in to help. Again, when another person came in, the vibe changed right away because she talked to my daughter and gave instructions like sheâs supposed to making the kids comfortable. Everyone there shows high level of professionalism and positive energy but Alex. She clearly showed she didn't want to be there. And I think she should not either for the sakes...
Read moreThis review is late but I thought it important to share as I wouldn't return here.I took my 2 year old daughter here after two of her molars on top quickly degraded(like in two weeks time). I was shocked and have done some research to find that antibiotics as a newborn and being 7 weeks premature was probably the cause. I was told she needed caps on those teeth and we made the appointment. I tried to prep her with role play as I was told they strap her in a papoose style thing to keep their arms tied in. And of course they use a drill. I also massaged her with lavender oil just before to calm her. The assistant was kind and tried her best to make my daughter comfortable. I was annoyed when they said I could sit in a chair 7 ft away from her but not be next to her. She was only 2! They said there wasn't enough room. Regardless I came up and started to soothingly rub her legs and sing to her because she was in distress. They gave the numbing agent and literally immediately the dentist went straight to drilling! They said it acts immediately but from the sudden jerk and violent cry from my two year old that didn't appear to be the case. I was shocked! I said 'I dont think the numbing is working yet?' She said she could give her another shot of it which she did. When we got to the other side though I asked for the dentist to wait a minute after administering the numbing agent . She seemed annoyed but obliged. This time my daughter was numb and ready and there were no tears. Not sure what the rush is. Why couldn't she wait a moment the first side. These are just little beings after all. No need to traumatize. I will say she was quick but she could definitely work on her bedside manner.
Now it's been two years and the caps have always been a sensitive area for brushing and the gums around always bleed. My daughter more often times than not pulls away when I brush that area no matter how gentle I am.so we're going to another dentist to check it out. There's no visible signs of sensitivity though. Anyways, I'm trying to find a dentist who is sensitive and kind and personable to all children and treats them with respect like they would an adult. Hope this...
