Edit: we contacted them for the below story and they had me come in and change it for free. It’s much more natural now, and a lot darker. Thank you!! I went in and asked for highlights. I had virgin light brown hair. I had an appointment with Susan. She asked how blonde I wanted to go, and I said not a lot. She suggested balayage so that it would fade out better, and I agreed. She was very friendly and told me all of her experience so I would feel more comfortable. She went through 3 bowls of bleach, leaving barely any of my natural hair. Didn’t tone it, then styled it quick. I was pretty shocked. My hair is now basically platinum blonde. Having told her I wanted more medium blonde highlights, I didn’t know what to think. Everyone at the store kept saying how good it looked, but I can’t help feeling that it looks really weird and unnatural. It will take a lot of getting used to. Parts are a little bit yellow, and the front is completely bleached white. Doesn’t match my skin tone. My hope right now is my hair grows out fast and I can wash out some of the bleach. I’m thankful the staff was so friendly and kind, but I didn’t get what I asked for at all, and I was charged a lot...
Read moreSuzan the owner is older and only knows old lady hair styles. She’s way over priced for her skill level. She always scalps you even if you tell her not to. She consistently cuts hair waay too short and makes old lady puff balls on top of your head. Even if you show her 1/2 dozen pictures she cannot copy a style. If you’re old and want old lady hair, like when people used to wrap toilet paper around their head to sleep back in the day, and that’s your thing-then she’ll be great. Otherwise skip it.
Suzan (owner) likes to say she had years of experience and that’s why she over charges. But a young girl or any skilled stylist can look at a pictures and cut it like the pictures.
Suzan-the age of the pictures doesn’t matter. The pictures were clear and showed several different angles of the style. If you had cut my hair like the photos I’d be happy. The point is YOU CAN’T cut it like the picture. You don’t know how to follow instruction and you don’t listen to your clients. Being old doesn’t make you good or be able to charge more. Being skilled does. And YOU DON’T have the skill.

Read moreWorst hair experience of my life. It's a miracle I still have hair! Went in for root touch up on single slice of color. End of day one left with orange roots, blue mid section and white ends. The girl was clueless. After calling the manager the following day to have it fixed, she refused to let me explain what was done wrong, said "it doesn't matter" only wanted to know what I wanted them to do to fix it. This manager worked with my stylist through the "fix". Then with my head still in the sink, waiting on toner to finish process told me, "well, it's not perfect, but it's better than it was- you should go back to the stylist that did it the first time- where you were were satisfied.". So they charged me $102 to lighten and tone regrowth on a single slice of hair. Two days in the salon, still ended up with orange roots, and was told to go with WET hair. AND go back to my old stylist! Terrible customer service. Horrible work. Steer clear of stylist Carly and...
