Cosentino's Price Chopper — Local services in Kearney

No funhaving to give Price Chopper in Kearney a bad review. And let me say I have been in many times when I have had great service, in a nice clean store, offering great prices. But ... I went in a couple of weeks ago and had an experience SO bad I had to stop and shake my head. Is this really happening? It was. From the second I walked in and asked for a coupon and had the young female behind the counter rip it off the cardboard and slam, yes she actually slammed it, down on the counter, to the cashier (to be totally fair her name tag said she'd been there since 2017 so she may have just been new) who questioned each of the 3 coupons I had even though I had just gotten one from customer service and the other two were on the packages of things I was buying, to the TWO front end young ladies, the original one and a 2nd one who came to help. They were both rude both in the way they spoke to me and in the way they acted toward me. At this point, they were holding me up (had some gift cards to buy and they wouldn't activate) and they were being rude to me? UM, what about trying to be nice and maybe even an apology for holding me up?! The attitude they gave me and the tone of voice (along with facial expressions) they used finally prompted me to ask them if they were tired or just snotty! And, let me finish this by saying, I emailed the day after it happened (was WAY too mad to give them anywhere near a fair review the night I came home) and got an email back that someone from the individual store would contact me. I was here Jan 4th for 2 hours. I had breakfast and watched a male employee go into the female bathroom, he came out around 15 minutes later, cleaned the water fountains. When I looked up again about half hour later he was not in site. I watched a mom with her child go in and the male employee came and stood by the water fountains again. My first thought was, I thought he had left a long time ago. A older woman customer had to use the bathroom, as she walked by that male employee shook his head back and forth as if that customer had just inconvenienced and ruined his day. I had to return to work and thought well I might as well use the bathroom also since others were in there and we all could get done and return the bathroom to the employee. When I turned the corner the bathroom door stood open, I stepped in and moved the cart out of the way so I and the other customer could have some privacy. As I did this the employee made a noise and acted disgusted with me. So when I was done, I made sure to put the cleaning cart back the way it was and as I did so he snapped at me to leave it. I stated back to him as he was walking past me in the doorway, I don't go to the bathroom at home with the door open and I won't do it here. This is not the first time your employees have had bad attitudes. I don't know if they just don't like their jobs or what the problems is, but I wish there was another store in that town I could shop at, because I sure...

I had the misfortune to have lost my credit cards and they put up with me attempting to negotiate a solution to the problem there in the store without giving me the bums rush, which is more than some stores would have tolerated, and, admittedly, it is a very clean and hospitable environment. However, they were unmoved to engage themselves in any way to help me with my plight, which, admittedly- is not their obligation in any way, shape, or form. And I was empty-handed and dejected when I left there and I'm not giving anyone at this store bad remarks about my 4 hour experience last night. They don't deserve that, any more than they deserve the review I would have written had anyone who noticed my desperation tried to help me figure a way with their help and intimate knowledge of their POS (no pun intended) system regardless of whether it was successful or not. They just didn't have that type of person working for them at the moment, or that type of environment. I'd buy groceries there, bathroom condition not-withstanding, but I'm not motivated to go out of my way if the next corporate conglomerate is even 5 feet closer. And I...
