I wish there were more stars available for this extraordinary jewelry store!! I do not even know where to begin to describe this place, first off every single one of the employees is extremely knowledgeable and super friendly and personable, they go out of their way to get you in to that piece of jewelry that fits every one of your needs. And the other amazing thing with this company that other businesses lack is the owner of Mon Amie Fine Jewelry is there all the time making sure her business runs the way she intended it to. The atmosphere is very relaxing and inviting it reminds me of a fine cigar shop mixed with a little bit of New England and a little bit of high-end New York City. This is definitely a place where the ladies are comfortable and so are the gentleman. Their prices are some of the best in the area and there's nothing low quality in this place (what I meant by that is high quality jewelry at an affordable price) the building is in a prime location parked right in the center of beautiful downtown Keene and parking is readily available all around. I highly suggest anyone and everyone to stop into this Gem of a store and experience this place for yourself, you will not regret it and neither will the loved one in your life that you better bring something shiny home for. During this very trying time - COVID-19, Amie worked with us to get us our engagement ring and wedding bands quickly to acommodate our needs when other stores were closed. I had called Mon Amie to ask if they were open and a nice woman answered the phone stating that the owner, Amie, would be in the store to meet customers by appointment only. We scheduled a time to go in right away and Amie was wonderful! She explained that they keep everything clean, had hand sanitizer readily available and was so easy to work with. We had told her our budget and she kept it within that budget...no pressure sales. It was very refreshing! We found the perfect ring and band that day. They would get sent out to be sized and she had told us it would be about 2 weeks. My engagement ring was ready in one! Amie worked with my fiance to find the perfect band to suit his taste and went above and beyond all around. It was such a relaxing experience for what could have been so stressful. If you are shopping for fine jewelry, this is the place in Keene to go! No hassles, no pressure, no stress. There is also an awesome primitive shop above the jewelry store that is wonderful! We couldn't be happier with our items or the service....

At first, I was very impressed with Mon Amie Fine Jewelry. The selection was amazing and their service was very personal. The owner wanted to know what I wanted and how she could help. I ended up buying an engagement ring from her with a appraisal.

Very quickly after we got the ring (matter of a few weeks) and the band started visually discoloring. Mon Amie didn't offer anything except "That's normal after a couple of years" and she can re-plate it (for free). Even she was surprised how quickly it happened. We did discuss switching the band to platinum.

The relationship didn't work out about 2 months after I purchased the ring. I started a discussion with the jeweler about returns. She said there was no return policy and didn't offer any assistance on finding a way to sell the ring. I bought the ring to a few other Jewelers and they all offered low values (1/3 of the original price). To get a better assessment, I bought the ring to two different independent jewelers and both of them appraised the ring at less than 1/2 of the selling value. Their appraisal both had significantly more internal defects then the Mon Amie appraisal detailed.
