AVOID THIS GAS STATION. I stopped for gas and the pump wouldn't take my card. I went to pay inside and the attendant said "yea, we've been having issues with that pump" (in hindsight, I should have seen this as a sign). With 1/3 of a tank remaining I expected to need around 10 gallons, but after quite a bit of time passed I looked up and saw the dial at 15 gallons (more than my tank can hold) and realized that the pump was making a much different sound than usual (sounded like air being pumped, not fluid). I immediately stopped the pump and went to speak to the attendant who gave me the managers number. After speaking with the manager he said he would get back to me after they investigated, but never did. I have since called his number 3 separate times, but he has not returned any...

Stopped here to use the restroom since everything east of there that can fit an 18 wheeler was snowed in today. Clerk (who isn't wearing a mask) had a little hissy fit about where I parked. Normally I buy drinks and snacks anytime I stop and use the toilet, especially if the place is tiny like this, but the clerk up and vanished in the two minutes I was in the bathroom. If you have a specific spot you want trucks to park when we stop there or if you don't want us there at all, maybe consider putting up a sign? And maybe try...

My little family stopped for gas at the Gondolier, and we managed to lock our keys and phones in our car. Without means to communicate with roadside service, we were really stuck. Bill, the owner proceeded to save us by letting me use his computer and phone to summon help. He also gave us food and drink while we waited. We got back on the road and will never forget...
